Côte Kensington

Another great meal at Kensington. My go-to cosy restaurant for a winter evening. The rib eye steak was tender and well cooked. As usual the staff were friendly and pleasant, and really interested in giving you the best experience. Will be back soon.

the offer that we redeemed didnt work. it is nowhere said what it means to dine from a la carte. we ordered two courses from a la carte, but have been told that only one cocktail is allowed. please, review your external comms as it confuses people.

We were a party of eight and after initially a few queries regarding menu choice the Italian lady from Puglia was great. We loved it!!

Lovely food for a reasonable price. Very good service and friendly waiters. A busy restaurant with a fun atmosphere and a very nice place to spend New years Day. Thank you to all at Cote Brasserie.

Staff were very good food average the crab mayonais did not taste of crab also too nuch onion.

Unfortunately, we didn't receive our Saucisson Sec hors d'oeuvres. Really enjoyed the steak tartare, beef bourguignon (beautifully tender beef) green beans, chocolate fondant (great quality chocolate & intense vanilla) & tarte au citron. Lovely to receive the complimentary smooth Chemin de Marquiere merlot. Thought the domaine de Barroubio was weak.

Warmly greeted and seated, as requested, towards the back of the restaurant where it’s slightly quieter which is helpful as I’m rather deaf. Water was provided instantly by our efficient and friendly waiter who didn’t mind our slow decision making process! Both of us enjoyed a delicious meal, picking and mixing between the different menus and the Pinot Noir we chose was excellent with the cheese my friend chose and with my scallops & black pudding. The only disappointment was that the kitchen had run out of creme caramel but the creme brûlée was a very acceptable alternative. Kensington Cote is my local branch and I always feel welcome and comfortable whether alone or with company and I’m quite sure anyone would.

Green beans were uncooked. We sent them back and replacements were also uncooked. Cost was removed from bill

Very pleasant staff, Child's first course came quickly, after that the service slowed just a bit. The menu for children is fine, but the cutlery is for adults, couldn't you supply smaller knives and forks for children? I had chicken and walnut salad, not for the first time, but it would be so much easier to eat in a low, wider bowl, please think about it.

Birthday dinner! Fish stew fabulous with bread basket! This branch is particularly good on all levels 🤗

On entering the resteraunt to leaving we were treat really well the food is great value and no one had a bad word for any of the meals, and we had 18 people eating.

Perfect that Gluten Free is really possible. As well as all other. Had a great evening!

We haven’t been given free cocktails, though reserved via the link. Maybe used the wrong link, but I go to the same restaurant every week and stuff knows me. Regardless, manager refused to offer free drinks to my friend and myself. I think that is according to the boon , but not service friendly to loyal visitors

Only down side was that our table was very near the door so very draughty

The food was very nice but we were disappointed with our table. It was right at the back of the restaurant out of the main area, by the top of the stairs down to the toilet and a constant sound of the hand dryer could be heard. It slightly ruined our celebration. We were also by the disabled toilet so just felt we were surrounded by toilets. I appreciate there may not have been many tables for 6 people.

I like Cote as it is always consistent- good value and tasty. Can be a bit noisy but a good BW ue if you’re in the area

Food was lovely and staff were super. The location is ideal as family were coming from several different places so was a perfect meeting place, close to the underground.

Food and service good. Meal ruined by excessively noisy party.

Like this place but not our best visit. Spoilt by a loud, foul mouthed women at her work’s party. Thought the management should have dealt with it but they didn’t. We were far from the only ones upset by it. Shame really.

Good food, personally nice staff, but a bit noisy. Where is not noisy near Christmas? Perhaps sound absorbing panels on the ceiling would quieten it?

As always good food well served by friendly staff. Who can ask for more.

It's always an enjoyable time at Cote Kensington! That includes great service, food and ambiance (but too noisy in the main restaurant area - SO much better in the bar area).
