Côte Kensington

We had the set lunch and the two courses I ate were very good. My friend had three courses and she enjoyed them very much. The service was excellent. Will be back.

Excellent food and lovely ambience. If I could criticise anything it would be the service was a little on the slow side. However, this was noted by a particular waiter who sprang in to help !

Very nice service, helpful and quick. This was very important because we were on our way to a concert at the Albert Hall. Good steak and burger, excellent tarte au citron.

As always amazingly tasty food, especially that Cote is a chain restaurant. Great selections, quite decent French wines, friendly and efficient service. We frequent this restaurant often. Highly recommended!

We visited on a Tuesday evening. The food was very tasty with generous portions. Great value for money with early dinner 3 course meal deal for £13.99. Friendly service and nice ambience. Recommended!

The service was generally very very slow. Food was at best, average and had little seasoning or actual flavour. A poor meal that wouldn't make me hurry back

The food was great, the service was polite and attentive, the restaurant had a lively atmosphere (a little loud for the hard of hearing but great vibe)

Always our restaurant of choice - great food, great service, great ambience and great value - and if the rare occasion occurs when we are not happy, then it is dealt with very professionally. We love Cote.

Staff t ricky to find the entrance but t once in it was good. FRiendly staff, good service not rushed even though restaurant was filling up. Very handy for Albert ball

Myself and my guest had a wonderful time. The food and wine were delicious, as always but, most importantly, the staff were so very friendly and efficient. Perfect!

Cote seems to offer a reliable formula. Can be a bit noisy sometimes - they turn down the lights so maybe they could turn down the music too? The trick is to try and find an area with a few soft furnishings and keep well away from the coffee machine that waiters insist on knocking seven bells out of before making a cup of coffee. My steak was excellent - perfectly cooked and the wine reasonable value at under £20. Staff a little distracted at times but generally good.

The service at Cote in Kensington is always outstanding and the food as well. I visited today with my wife and 2 month old baby and they made us feel at home.

Good value in "before 7 PM" menu, with reasonable selection of starter, main and dessert. Recommended. Service competent and efficient, good wine list. Worth a try...

Staff very pleasant & helpful. My Niece was getting coach back to Bristol Uni & her mobile battery had died. They charged it up for her with pleasure. The food was super too. Moules, fillet steak, apple tart, frozen berries, lamb shank. And the mixed olives.All of it. And the rewards red wine - Cote du Rhone - fabulous. Had a very similar experience at our Weybridge Cote the week before. Keep up the good work. Only complaint with London was the temperature was far too hot & stuffy. Very airless.

We arrived late due to traffic for a meal prior to going to Royal Albert Hall as a birthday treat. The staff were outstanding and got our meal to us promptly without feeling rushed. The manager also gave us a free glass of pink fizz each, acknowledging the celebration. Sadly we only had time for a main course but the food was up to par as ever with every visit we have made to Cote. Good value for Kensington too. Superb highly recommend all aspects. Busy with other diners too

Great service and great food. Good location away from the noise of traffic on Kensington High Street. Good choice of food and prices for family dinners after a tiring walk around London or somewhere to treat yourself for a special event.

Excellent food and service, and a great location for a meal before a show at the royal Albert hall. The cod goujons were particularly delicious.

Such a convenient location in Kensington, used a lot for business lunch and always well looked after.... Cote is our favorite meeting place near our offices....

Cozy atmosphere, convenient location, reliable, very good food particularly the steak frites, mussels and crumble dessert, friendly staff, quick service and reasonable price for both food and wine.

Always good service, which is why we go back. Tonight my steak was a bit tough but they did give us a discount, so we will go back.

Great food, nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff are excellent and good value. The menu choice is varied which suits everyone. Nice wine list to accompany your meal as well. We will be back,

I had 2 starters,, the blood orange and chicory salad which was delicious, as was the artichoke starter. My husband enjoyed the seafood linguine. I also had the apple crumble which was naughty but very nice.

Both my guest and I had a very good experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. We both really appreciated the wide choice of dishes from filling to quite light and healthy.

Food very good. Waiting staff were very polite an attentive. No gripes except for not throwing a couple and there very noisey child out that would not behave himself who had broken a glass as soon as they sat at the table and annoyed every patron nearby. I would have at least asked them to take child out and calm him down. The parents didn't seem to care though.

The food was lovely and service was good. Served reasonably quickly and food didn't take long even though they were full. Bit of confusion as the reservation hadn't go get through to say that I had free bottle of wine with loyalty card. I showed them the email and they gave me the wine just asking me to rebook for that night so their system was correct

We enjoyed the experience, we were able to choose our table, the restaurant had a lively vibe so a good atmosphere. Good food and good service. We would definitely re-visit.

Easy to find, just down a little ally, drinks order was taken straight away and came promptly. Food order was taken then and food came quickly too. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere, clean. Would recommend.

Great food, wine and atmosphere. A great place to relax with friends on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Good service and reasonable pricing. Shame they had run out of chocolate fondant.

We ordered bread and olives to start,followed by steak and fries.with a side order of french beans. The bread arrived a delay on the olives only to be told that our mains were ready so did we still want the olives we decided no.Steak arrived without the beans and had to wait some time before they came. The worst service we have had in a Cote Bistro.

We had a wonderful meal with great service! We arrived early and actually forgot to tell them we had a later reservation due to our jet lag! I would highly recommend this establishment to others!

Pleasant enough if slightly on the noisy side. Food was average. My husband asked for a medium fillet steak and was presented with a rare one. Soup for starters could have been hotter. Service could have been bettet. Staff were reasonably pleasant but overall indifferent. Seating was inadequate. You would not go to this branch of Cote for a romantic dinner as the tables for two people are squashed very close together along one side of the restaurant making privacy difficult to achieve and even trying to pull your chair out was not an easy feat.

Excellent place for Sunday lunch. The food was very good; staff friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of space inside and outside, so no problem with finding a nice table. I will certainly be back soon.

Two of us ate here on a visit to London. Restaurant was BUSY WITH GOOD ATMOSPHERE, food was excellent with efficient service. Free bottle of wine made the evening.

All the staff were very helpful and efficient, and the food was extremely quick but of a good standard as always. Only complaint the party had was one person ordered a beer and it was very expensive for the size.

I'm a real fan of Cote restaurants and have been to this particular one [Kensington] a few times. Nice warm welcome, comfortable atmosphere, good value menu [set].

Fabulous, easy food. Lovely evening had by all the Kensington restaurant is perfectly situated and great candle lit lighting. We all enjoyed very much! Will go back!

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime. The food was ok but not stunning. The service was good at a busy time of day. I would revisit, this one and other Cotes.

the service was good and the food was very nice. Nothing exceptional, but good value and an ideal pre-theatre meal. We will return again and I have no problem recommending Cote as a reasonable and quality choice.

Great place and amazing desserts. Good quality / price. I have been 3 times in one month and I really enjoy the special monthly specials.

Our local Cote Brasserie is in Oxford where we have enjoyed several excellent meals so it was an obvious choice to visit Cote Bistro Kensington.

My Chicken Liver Pate was not quite as good as others I have had but the Steak Tartare and my wife's Calamari and her Crab Salad were at their usual excellent standard as was the service and the reward bottle of red wine. David Martineau

Really good service ! Food was OK. Bistro is a little bit noise. The experience gas ben positive especially for the great service se received.

A brief visit, as we had to go to the theatre, but the waiters were friendly and took our orders with good humour. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. Never seem to be disappointed with Cote. Reliable chain.
