Côte Kensington

Service was slow, though it wasn't packed. This is actually quite normal at Cote restaurants. Ordered creme caramel at the start of the meal. After cutlery for the dessert was placed on the table and we waited for a bit, someone came and told us there was no more.

A fabulous place to eat! Very attentive, friendky and courteous staff, lovely ambience and mouthwatering food. In the week there is a fantastic early bird menu (order before 7pm) - excellent value (2 courses under £11 and three courses only a couple of pounds more. I highly recommend Cote Kensington- we are always welcomed with a smile.

The food was very good, the ambiance was also very good. The service was good - they just got a new waitress learning the ropes so just a little slow but we will be back!

Lovely greeting. Nice table, good friendly service . Chicken with gratin potatoes delicious but all meals were enjoyed. No rush to leave the table. I would come back for set menu

Lovely place and staff are attentive. Food was well cooked and very enjoyable- would go there again. I had rib eye steak and my partner had duck.

We visited this restaurant after reading previous reviews, and were not disappointed. Despite the full house they still managed to wait on us quickly and efficiently and with kindness. I had the duck breast and my husband the mussle stew and both were excellent. The coupe noir was the perfect finish to our meal. The price range is amazing compared to the quality of food and service. I hope we'll get a chance to visit this place again next time we're in London!

Good value for money, lovely menu and happy staff. The food was excellent, I would definitely visit Cote Bistro again and would happily recommend it.

Friends and family meal, great atmosphere, even better when the noisy table in front left - but you can't help that. Service was very good, food excellent.

We dine frequently in Cote, the service here is/was not to the usual standard we have experienced at many other Cote restaurants. The food was to the standard expected, delicious. There was only us and another couple and both of us had to call for service, given the menu and then left and thereafter struggled for eye contact. An internal Company visit may be required. If this was our first experience it may have discouraged frequent use of Cote. We are off to Richmond this lunchtime a return to our first Cote experience therefore no damage done!!

We enjoyed a tasty pre theatre. meal. The staff were helpful and efficient and ensured that we had finished our meal in order to get to the theatre on time.

Food and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and happy. We got there early and stayed later than we had anticipated but nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed our both our evening meal and popped in for breakfast the next morning. The food was excellent and there was a good gluten free menu. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly.

Food is great and good value for money. Our party had mussels, chicken, duck breast, fish stew and steak. It was true for all. Service is quick and friendly. The place is quite noisy.

Great food but I did not enjoy hearing the manager offering to reward the member of staff who 'pushed' most alcohol on to a party. Not a good advert for Cote and I will definitely not be going to the Kensington branch again.

The food food is always excellent and so reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and attentive without being in your face. The service is very quick.

Very impressed with the restaurant. Although it was busy the service was good and we were not rushed. The portions were very generous and we went from the set meal. Lots of choice.

Good service, great vibe, no side plates for bread. My parmentier was divine but the pork belly & steak were tough and the crackling didn't crackle.

Have visited several outlets of this chain! Never disappoints! Great food, reasonable prices! Varied menu with daily specials for something different! Warm French bread, French onion soup some of my faves! Bon appetit!

Excellent service and food for the money. Only discovered the Cote chain in December 2016 and have now been a customer on three occasions. Each experience has been good. Staff are attentive and well trained. well done .

Excellent service, fabulous food and wonderful ambience. Cote Kensington is one of my favourite bistro's as they never fail to offer anything but the best. Highly recommended.

As expected, the usual good choice of food coupled to quick and efficient service, though never making you feel hurried. All very enjoyable, though draught beer would be a welcome option.

We came here before going to the Albert Hall. I'm coeliac so need GF food and all the waiters/waitresses were very knowledgable and all my food came with a little 'gluten free' flag; it really shows that Cote have the accreditation from Coeliac UK and take it seriously. Plus, the food was delicious. Only minor downsides- we were a little squeezed next to table behind us, and the waiter was a little over-pushy trying to persuade us to have an after dinner drink! But otherwise top-notch.

Food was good with a good value 2 course menu. Restaurant was very busy. Service was pleasant but slow, so that we were left with 10 mins to eat our main course while paying the bill at the same time as we were going to a concert.

Food and service good. We did not feel rushed. I had booked a specific table which I do every time my friends and I meet up. We have yet to allocated that table when we arrive. I appreciate that lunch time is usually busy but it would be nice for my request to be granted.

As always at Cotes Bistro Kensington it was efficient service, friendly staff and great value for money. It's a little jewel in the heart of Kensington and is highly recommended. Best to book though, as it gets quite busy.

This was a great birthday night. I am vegan and my partner likes her steak tartare and we were both extremely pleases with the choice and especially the quality of the food. The plates were delicate and of top quality. The service was efficient and very friendly. At the start of the evening, I whispered to a waiter it was a birthday and I would like a candle in our dessert. To my great surprise before we needed to order our desert three staff arrived singing with a beautiful desert and the candle. Thanks to the great effort. We will be back. Very efficiently friendly place great romantic atmosphere.

We went to the royal Albert hall and the mid week early supper menu was perfect. Quick service and delicious food really happy. Going again.

Very nice. Only issue was that waiters cleaned plates away before the rest of the table had finished eating which I find very rude and makes you feel rushed. However food and the rest of the service was very good.

Côte offers a variety of food options at very reasonable pricing. There's even a list of daily food and drink specials. The service ,however , could be more attentive.

Great service, food good (plaice special disappointing). However, it was too warm, needed the doors or windows opening or install a fan / air conditioning.

Lovely ambiance and attentive helpful staff. My food was tasty and good value for money. However, the cod wrapped in French bacon could have done with being warmer.
