Very slow service, having allowed two hours for lunch there was no time for desert. Also the bill was incorrect. Not up to their usual standard

We really enjoyed our meal. Staff were helpful and attentive. However, it was very busy and they were stretched. The desserts seemed a little below the usual Cote standard.

Good value restauranr for quality but why don't the staff listen to the customer? Three times items were sent back as were not orderered. Oh that dreaded order ipad! Staff more interested in typing things than looking and talking to their customers.

Lovely helpful and very welcoming. Was not rushed even though part of our party was delayed. Food always excellent and wine good and reasonably priced.

very nice meal and the staff were super nice and helpful. Restaurant wasn't too noisy either and we could have a good conversation without shouting unlike some places!

We ate from the A la Carte menu as I particularly enjoy the roasted sea bass with fennel. The food was good and the staff charming. I had to wait a while for my olives but they finally came with many apologies and were on the house which was a nice gesture.

We waited 15 minutes at the table before we asked for menus! However, the food was delicious and we will probably go there again. It was a busy evening for the staff as they had a large party of 37.

A good meal and excellent service on a busy day .Our waitress accepted several changes of menu and specia wishes for children with good grace .The preorder which had been a bit difficult to organise turned out to be unnecessary

Food good when it eventually came! Very slow service. Confusing choice when given 3 menus. It would be helpful if it was printed on the menus that the daily specials and pre-theatre menus are NOT available on Sat and Sundays.

Very pleasant evening once again at Cote Kensington. Staff always attentive, food consistent and a nice bistroey feel. Great place to meet before theatre or show, after work, or catching up with friends.

Great, happy staff. We had pre- Theatre meal which was good selection We chose this restaurant as within easy walk to Royal Albert Hall.. We choose Cotes Brasserie for every theatre outing in London. There is always one near. Great restaurants - book early.

Delicious food, a bit of confusion over getting the set menu and when we asked for plates for the calamari, we had to ask twice. Obviously, we will still go to cote, this was just a one off.

Great brasserie ambience, competent, efficient and charming service, and very tasty food, which included chicken liver pate, fish & seafood stew, seabass & fennel with a nice bottle of chablis and finishing with a creme brulee. Would return in a heartbeat.

Good food as usual. Service was a little rushed with dishes being removed as soon as we had finished. Also no consistent member of staff serving so we got asked same question by different waiters

We thoroughly enjoyed our pre-theatre meal at Cote. Although this restaurant was very busy it had a lovely atmosphere just buzzing with happy chatter. We were well looked after by a delightful Italian waiter and the final bill was not too much of a surprise - except the green salad at £2.50 turned out to be only a few leaves! We shall return. Last week I endured a rather horrid coffee and French pastry at Cote in St Albans, but was prepared to give this chain another chance - and pleased we did so.

Good lunch but restaurant very busy and very noisy and some staff though very pleasant were inexperienced and started clearing the table before we had finished. Also table at the top of the stairs and outside disabled toilet means everyone bumps into your chair as they pass.

Good food, nice environment, warm atmosphere, pleasant service. We had Christmas dinners here both last year and this year. We also had several dinners here with friends. Cote is our most favourite restaurant in the area.

I ate at Cote Kensington two days running and both days were extremely good. We were very early on the first day sonit was lovely and quiet. The manageress was welcoming and my langustine tails and moules were delicious. The following day I had the quick chicken with dauphine potatoes and this was equally good. One point I would make is that the tables nearer the door are much better if you have trouble hearing - the ceiling is much higher!

Staff good and food very tasty. The only downside was lukewarm veg. Chicken and fries very well cooked and the lemon tart and apple tart both really good. The wine was also excellent.

Very pretty little restaurant tucked away down a tint=y street just off Kensington High Street. The food is up to normal Cote standards - always good and very good value. Great, great staff here. Really friendly greeting, considerate table placement and excellent service. A very enjoyable visit. Will certainly go again

Went for breakfast here and it was good, but not great. Waited for 30 mins in a quiet restaurant for eggs Benedict and when it finally came the eggs were hard. Hollandaise sauce was good though - always a silver lining. Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry.

Well priced slick service after 10pm with a full house following an Albert Hall concert - most impressive! My only criticism was that my pork belly had been reheated: it was overdone and a bit tough although the flavour was good. JEB

I've been to Cote several times and usually enjoyed it. Last night the food was fine but the service was erratic--had to call the waitstaff several times to order, to ask when we'd be getting coffee (got it several minutes after the dessert arrived) and the bill. Worst thing was the noise--there were three of us and we could hardly hear each other over the din of the music and other voices. This really spoiled our experience. I'm not sure I'll be back for dinner.

We ordered two Cote de Bouef, which my wife and had recently in Cardiff Bay Cote , when it arrived they were both cold , we mentioned this and they changed both dishes , the replacements were excellent and there was an adjustment to the bill . We use Cote a lot and this wouldn’t put us off using them again.

Whenever I come up to London I tend to book my breakfast at Cote's. I have tried various venues around London and so far have not been disappointed. I find the staff polite and curtious and nothing is too much for them. The food is good and I don't have to wait too long. My only complaint is I wish the food was served hotter, not untouchable but hot rather than warm.
