Everything great as usual. Very pleased with extensive Gluten Free menu but didn't seem to have one for desserts. This was our extended family Xmas lunch coming from all over place. Ideal location to wander thro gardens afterwards. Love Cote☺
We had a lovely time at this restaurant the staff very attentive and not harassed food and drink when down well we are all going to return back again very soon.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. there is a wide choice on the menu both food and wine. The food and wine is very good
Set menu excellent value and very tasty. Staff very attentive and helpful. Will visit again as it was very handy for the Royal Albert Hall.
The food is cheap and it shows. Cote is no longer owned by the original company and the new company would prefer to put profits before customer satisfaction. The quality has plunged.
I had lunch with two friends at the Kensington Cote today and we were all delighted with the friendly and very professional staff as weĺl as the quality of the food. Nothing could be improved - 10/10.
Côte at High Street Kensington is a great restaurant. Much more spacious than others. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.
Always good! Great food, room and service. The staff at Cotes in general are all very well trained but they really are the best at Kensington Cote. Also the best duck confit anywhere - really delicious.
Delicious lunch with efficient, friendly service. Enjoyed by all 5 of us. We chose this Cote because it is close to where we all needed to go in the afternoon.
It does not take 25 words to say that Cote Restaurants always provide a delicious good value meal served by efficient and exceedingly pleasant cheerful staff
Lovely restaurant just off Kensington High Street. We arrived early but were seated immediately. Both of us had the set menu which was very nice! I had steak frites and my husband had Seafood Linguine. Both were large portions as were the starters. Creme caramel as dessert. Very good food. Very good service. Will go again
This is a beautiful restaurant nestled down a side street in the Heart of Kensington. Unlike many of the other restaurants around it offers not only fabulous food and excellent service but also fantastic value for money. I can't recommend it enough.
Very nice place to spend some time for dinner before or after a concert at the Royal Albert Hall Friendly staff, good food and reasonable price
Food was great and service very friendly. Good atmosphere, especially as it was Christmas week and the Children enjoyed it. Very convenient for the Albert Hall as just a short walk.
One of many Cote restaurants that I've visited, and this one didn't disappoint again on what was my third visit to this particular location. Good food, fast and friendly service. Will visit again when I'm back in Kensington!
Party of 3 at 16.45 on a Friday. Food quality good as usual. Staff very friendly. However, 1 of the starters arrived about 5 minutes after the other 2 (to be fair they took this off the bill unprompted) and accompanying potato side dish arrived about 5 minutes after its main course. It seemed a little strange from the start when requested tap water was delivered to the table with no glasses to drink it from!
Lovely warm atmosphere. The food was great. The staff were very accommodating when one of our party turned up unexpectedly. They sorted out a chair and processed the new order very quickly.
Despite arriving at a busy time of the day the service was excellent. We were served quickly and efficiently. We ate from the lunch menu which had a good selection to chose from. The food was tasty and well presented.
We had an excellent experience. The staff were superb as was the food. Our table was as requested and we couldn't fault our experience in any way.
Always constant good food and good service. Excellent locstion, especially if attending the Royal Albert Hall. Speak ials and seasonal menus are also great value.
Excellent evening. This was a pre-theatre meal and the staff were welcoming, efficient and quick. Food was delicious and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
On a very busy Saturday night before Christmas, the staff at Cote could not have been better. The food was great as always and the service was efficient and very pleasant. Just a wonderful experience on what could have been a very challenging night.
Good ambience, good menu selection, very attentive waiter and no problem finding a roomy table due to one of our party being over 6ft 5in tall
One of the better Côte locations. The food was excellent as always. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were given the « banquette », which is always nice. And they were rushing us out. All and all a great lunch!
Pleasant environment, pleasant food, though chicken dish sadly quite overlooked. (I should have mentioned it at the time). Efficient and helpful staff. We enjoy the standard of Cote, which is steady.
The restaurant was busy (i.e Xmas!) but the team was understaffed meaning that we did not receive the standard of service I would normally expect. We waited a long time to order a drinks, which was half delivered. We then had to chase the 2 missing beers. We asked for water over 5 times and were forgotten about. After each course, the table was half cleared away so we had a lot of dirty plates, glasses on the table and anyone time. We waited over 45 minutes for dessert. The food was great and the staff were lovely (when we had their attention, I just wish restaurants brought on enough staff for these busy periods). Even though we pre-ordered, we were still in the restaurant for 2.45 mins !
Lovely, accommodating staff, even though this was a very busy evening in the restaurant due to Christmas celebrations. Consistently good food and great value. We'll be back for a repeat experience.
A lovely restaurant, the food was delicious and all the staff smiling, pleasant and professional. Well done. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all of you.
Lovely restaurant conveniently located for Royal Albert Hall and Kensington High Street. Food quality and portions very good but service was a little slow as the place was packed! Our lovely waitress was very apologetic when we had to cancel our dessert order which hadn’t arrived by the time we needed to leave. My ‘medium rare’ steak arrived very rare indeed so they cooked me another which was perfect though it took a very long time to arrive - they could probably do with more staff during the busy pre-Christmas period.
Lovely food, great atmosphere and very friendly and efficient service, making it an ideal venue for a pre-Albert Hall supper. The very good value set menu is available until 7pm too!
We had a nice table for two in a quiet corner.. very attentive staff and quick service. We chose the chicken supreme and brioche bread and butter pudding from the Christmas lunch menu and it was absolutely delicious. Would visit again when next in London.
Lovely meal but surprised early evening menu not offered. I had to request it. Only Xmas menu or a la carte given on arrival, no need for this as restaurant was packed. I knew about early evening menu but others didn’t. Naughty.
One of the best meals I’ve had, the early evening menu is great value for money and the food was exceptional, definitely going back there soon
Overall the service was shambolic. The staff were polite but it took ages to order a drink, then to wait for our food order to be taken. Our round table was wobbly and it took 3 requests to get someone to look at it but they couldn't fix it. In the end my son worked out what was wrong and fixed it. It took ages to get our desserts which then made us late for our show at the Royal Albert Hall. The bill was wrong and I wanted to pay the tip in cash but the waiter didn't know what to do and had to ask the manager delaying us even more. Real shame as we go to Cote regularly but this one needs to sort out its waiting staff.
There are no surprises with Cote- you know that the food will be good, reasonably priced and service also good. This branch is no exception. Staff are friendly and efficient.
The service was very good. We had a waiter from southern Italy and he was excellent. The food was very tasty as I have found in Cote Brasseries I visited. The noise was ear deafening and it was not easy to hear my companion speak. I just do not understand why people have to speak at the top of their voices in Kensington.
Great gluten free for coeliac options... Easy going service. Simple and delicious food. Would definitely book and eat here again. Great location as well. Delish
A good balance of healthy, tasty food, at a fair price level. Environment too noisy, some times. Waiters are very busy, but usually get your call fast enough.
A perfect light meal, and I was impressed by the service. My friend and I were tucked into a corner table, and because there were several Christmas lunches with groups of 6 or more going on I feared the service might be a slow - but it definitely wasn't. We got great service with a friendly smile, and I know we'll be back. Thank you so much!
Cote Kensington is an ideal place to go for a pre-theatre meal - the service is quick and efficient, and the food is reliable French bistro fare. On this occasion, I had steak (the sirloin is better than the fillet, in my experience), and my partner had the Beef Bourgignon. Both were good, and we'll definitely be back...
The restaurant was busy which meant that the staff were stretched and service was a bit inconsistent - however my steak au poirve was perfectly cooked and the recommended wine was excellent
Nice location with a lovely atmosphere. Good menu, particularly when you need to eat gluten-free. A shame that the food, although tasting good, was luke warm.
Good food, good service, pleasant ambience, very good value two-course meal in early evening, served in time to easily attend 7.30pm concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Very good location, off the main road.
Service was atrocious or waitress was so rude and didn’t engage at all! Then had to ask for menu and bill 3 times! Although the other tables with different waiters seemed like they were having fun!
Cote always serves good tasting french cuisine. Service is normally very good. Kensington is a smaller restaurant and can be quite noisy. Great location for shopping and events
Such a shame there was an issue with the gas & toilets were blocked. We have been here as part of our xmas tradition several times and were looking forward to salmon & scrambled eggs for our brunch but ended up having poached eggs and salmon. To be fair we were warned beforehand but we stayed as we are not from the area, had booked long in advance and didn’t know anywhere else to go. It was all delicious but not what we wanted. Also, a word of warning...hollandaise sauce is very very rich! Seving staff were fab
Good atmosphere. Food very good. But had to wait a very long time to order desert. Shame as 2 of our party had leave without ordering a desert as they had a train to catch. When desert was ordered it also took a long time to arrive. Would still go back as this is the first time it has happened. I have been there quite a few times before with good service.
The breakfast would have been good, but unfortunately they had no gas, so we’re managing as best they could. Sadly the breakfast was quite cold, but the manager was very apologetic, and circumstances must have been difficult,
The small 2 person tables along the wall in the back are FAR too tightly packed together - it is almost impossible to squeeze into your chair - and I am a small person! The pre-theatre service was snappy which was great. We had a charming trainee looking after us. Although she was still learning she was very apologetic if she made an error and that was entirely fine - but she kept squatting right down next to the table to speak/take the order, which is very strange to have a waitress down below your eye level! The steak was tasty as usual, I always enjoy the fillet. However this one clearly was not rested at all. Ordered medium rare it was bloody, which you would expect to a degree, but not for the whole plate to be swimming in liquid!
