A most pleasant evening. Very helpful and cheerful manager. Very accommodating on a very busy evening. Good food and great bottle of wine!. Left good tip.

The chicken was over cooked , the steak the same. The service was slow and the duty manager was rude and I informed him that his standards weren’t was I expect from a Cote restaurant.

Average service. Unable to get starters, or main course order correct. Did deduct cost of late arrival of part of the main course from the bill. Not very busy when we were visiting, served by the person whom appeared to be the manager. Other Cote’s appear better than Kensington.

I had to hail a wait person every single time our table wanted anything, from the moment we sat down up to the payment of the bill. Even having received a response to my waves, I still had to get up from the table 3 times to find a wait person to actually come to the table to take our orders. Needless to say we poured our own wine. When our table was served our entree (there were 8 of us) they neglected to provide one of us with his entree and again I had to get up and search for a person to get this order from the kitchen. Appalling, especially as we had brought 4 foreign visitors telling them how great the place was. When we finally received the bill I got up and found the manager, told him of the service. He apologised, saying the were short staffed and he took off the service charge. We were regular Cote diners and have always had good food and good service in other Cote restraurants but not High Street Ken.

Food is always very good however the service this time around was less than satisfactory and I felt the waiter was slightly rude. If I've been waiting for the dessert menu for 15mins I think if I then ask for the menu the waiter should not sound feed up.

Of all the Cotes restaurants I have dined at this has to be classified as the worst. I have dined at this establishment several times & my opinion does not change. The service is poor, unattentive & distant. The menu is exactly the same as any other cote restaurant but the quality is lacking. Will try not to dine there again

Great restaurant, fantastic location for Kensington Gdns or Albert Hall, and terrific value. I eat here at least three times a week and the food and service is always five star.

Tucked away down a cobbled street off Kensington High Street one could be forgiven for thinking of a Parisian bistros. You are always warmly welcomed and on leaving smiles and goodbyes give equally feelings of wellbeing. Service, food and value are all excellent. This is one of our favourite midweek eateries.

Rather noisy. Food adequate rather than good. Service ok but I ordered a Green salad which never came. Reasonable prices for central London. Might go again

Lovely staff, but our soup was cold so we sent it back and had obviously just been reheated in a microwave as the original topping had disappeared. Consequently we were a long time having our by now boiling hot soup, and when our next course arrived, it was chicken and mashed potato and very dry! However, for the cheap menu, we cannot expect a gourmet experience! I eat here oft3n and am normally very satisfied.

Although we usually visit at the weekend which is bustling, we decided to eat in the week. Different staff on but restaurant manager was absolutely magnificent- she provided impeccable service and made our meal one to remember. Definitely recommended.

The staff were warm, friendly and attentive as soon as we arrived, the menu choice was good, especially the gluten free menu, the service was good, along with the food and ambiance - Cote Kensington will always be my first choice, even over and above The Ivy

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was first class and tasty. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine offer but then the waiter added it to our bill!! Which we had to then query and have removed! We found our waiter to be professional but quite abrupt and would of liked them to be a little more friendly.

The service was good but the side dish (green beans) came much later than the main and when it finally came the beans were grossly undercooked. We were not charged from it but still. Disappointing.

Always a good experience coming to the Kensington Cote. We regularly celebrate my chikdren’s birthdays here and the staff are always so helpful and enthusiastic and bringing a cake is perfectly acceptable- not the case in many other places. Can’t fault it!

The olives tasted off, and the French onion soup tasted nice but the bread that was in it you had to pick it out of the bowl and cut it on a plate it was that hard. The mains were nice. But the service was not good at all. They all looked completely disinterested and had to flag them down almost the whole time, even to take our mains plates away. Love Cote, but will not be coming to this one again sadly

Although we have dined at several other Cotes restaurants this was the first time we had dined at Cote Kensington. We were warmly welcomed when we entered the restaurant. The food was the usual Cote menu - i.e very tasty and excellent value for money and was served promptly by different members of staff all of whom were very friendly and cheerful. A minor criticism - the tables for two persons by the windows are very cramped for space especially if you are tall like the writer.
