The salmon main course was delicious, the calamari starter was average/poor

Between meetings with an hour or so to 'waste' so took myself to lunch. Another Cote had warned me that the cassoulet can take a little longer to prepare, so today was my opportunity. Very tasty and a generous ratio of meat to beans. The duck fell from the bone. The smoked wing was a tasty contrast and the sausages were firm and full of meat. Look forward to having it again.

The service was really good. We went on a busy Friday night but the service was quick and the waitress was really friendly. I like the cote brasserie food but the fries were cold, which is my only complain on this occasion.

We had a lovely time; more than we imagined. I had arranged to meet up with an ex colleague who is going through a very difficult time healthwise. Your waitress, Matilda was ever so helpful in arranging for her dietary needs at such short notice and to top it all up, your genorisity was just impeccable. You have definitely secured our custome.

Excellent service and food and a lovely ambience with the festive decorations. Unlike some other restaurants, there is no bar area where people are just drinking so this is a great venue for a very good quality meal in peaceful surroundings. The early bird set menu served before 7.00 pm is very good value for money.

A really nice restaurant - great ambience, furnishings and layout. Food was fabulous and the staff/service was excellent. We went for one of their 3 course special set menus and the food was delicious and plentiful. Would highly recommend the restaurant.

First visit to the Bank restaurant. Comfortable space on a cold wet evening. It took a little while before our drinks order was taken but otherwise service was very good. We both had the chicken liver parfait, venison parmentier and chocolate pots from the early evening menu, all extremely tasty.

Yet another excellent meal at Cote Brasserie. Good food, good service and good ambience: What more can you ask from a restaurant? Also very well placed as it is in the Square Mile and convenient for Bank, Moorgate, St Pauls, Liverpool St. Special thanks to the duty manager and to the waitress Alexandra. Keep it up guys!!

Food was great (esp the steak on the set menu), house wine very good and good value, and the service was friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be the entrance set up... the purpose of the big red velvet curtain is surely to keep the heat in, but when we asked if it could be drawn (as the outer door was open and it was drafty), we were offered a different table instead - as closing the curtain would make the restaurant look ‘closed’. They had the heater above the entrance blasting out heat, which seems rather un-environmentally friendly with the door open when it’s 10c outside.

The whole place lacked atmosphere. My crab mayonnaise was very salty? Seafood pasta was just OK . Empty wine bottle just left on the table until I asked for it to be removed.

Had a lovely early dinner with 5 colleagues. Set menu had something for everyone. The waitress was very helpful with the wine. Our needs were thoroughly catered for which meant we all had a thorough catch up. We will definitely make it a regular occurrence. Watch out for our next booking!

Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, can’t fault the staff & food excellent as always! Now one of my favourite Cote restaurants! Have been to many Cote restaurants over many years & never had a bad meal-not many places you can say that about!
