Great service and great value. Excellent food choices and well prepared
Overall, I had a very good experience at Cote. In having visited cote quite a few times and experiencing some of your other venues. The standard definitely met my expectations, as I was impressed with the customer service from the waiter dealing with our table and the quality of the food. All round, the food definitely remains the same quality across venue to venue.
Superb service in the City and excellent food. Will definitely bring more clients to this restaurant. As we found the whole experience very enjoyable. Well done!
Love Cote. Good quality French food, good wine and reasonably priced. All positives.
We had a very nice lunch today, the whole experience was great. From the service to the quality of the food, I really can't fault anything. Thank you team!
Fans of the Cote Brasserie should check out this recent addition. The decor is beautiful. Really lovely. The food was as good as expected and the service was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. We went on Saturday when it was very quiet but that gave us more opportunity to admire the elegant surroundings.
Excellent service from all staff. We weren't rushed, and were checked on just often enough. Excellent food and wine and nicely decorated restaurant.
I have to say that the service we received was exceptional from start to finish. We were welcomed through the door and the staff knew that we had booked with the free G&T offer. I was so very impressed that I really want to say thank you. The decor is also very lovely here and the atmosphere is great. We will definitely be returning.
Excellent evening - great food and first class service. The only reason not to get every star was the wine and beer wasn’t chilled sufficiently. It didn’t spoil the evening though and getting that right would have meant perfection.
My family & I visited Cote Brasserie Bank on Monday evening and it was a great experience. The ambience was lovely, the staff were very professional, courteous and VERY attentive! Food was exquisite, wine was lovely and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you to all the staff working on Monday evening, you made the experience great one. Thank you.
Food was lovely but although it was quiet for a Monday lunchtime, the service was slow but as mentioned the food was very good and the atmosphere was such that you could hear yourselves
Great menu choice, delightful waiter, not rushed, great food, lovely atmosphere & great value. What more could you want.
The food and service were impeccable. Keep up the good work, for a recently opened restaurant you are already on your way to great things. I can’t wait to dine with you again.
Great lunch with good food friendly staff and a great atmosphere
Great atmosphere and very good service. I will be back. Thank you
Although I really enjoy visiting Cote at other venues, I have found that the waiting time and service at this particular branch is well below par.
I was received with a smile shown to a quiet table (which I requested when making my reservation). We had the "Lunch Menu" served by a pleasant waitress who checked that all was well during the meal. We both were impressed with the quality of the food the speed with which it came and it's value for money. Well done
Relaxing midday lunch. Always to a high standard at Cote. Noticed a faster menu for those having to work for living (0kay that would be me on any other day)
Greatly enjoyed the set menu. super tasty, the cote du rhone was also great. Service was good from start to finish. Looking forward to next visit
Super service and greeted by the very smiley lady on the front desk. All good and happy to recommend this venue. A welcome addition to the City.
Despite the restaurant being very quiet, it took 1hr 15 mins for our mains to arrive. The overwhelming taste of my Risotto Vert was saltiness. The staff voluntarily took £9.25 off the bill but it was still a disappointing first experience at Cote, Bank.
Am a big fan of Cote. Good value delicious food and very good service. Am very pleased that there is now a branch on Old Jewry.
Another nice time at Cote... Just one little niggle, the minute steak was not pink, as advertised, it had been overcooked.
This was my second visit to Cote at Bank. I want to give my review on this restaurant to compliment the staff who were so efficient and genuinely friendly. Well done - good customer service makes a huge difference to the occasion.
Akazing food and great service. I really recommend this place. The table was ready when we arrived and everything was perfect. Congratulations to the staff!
relaxing dinner with good food and good service
Excellent friendly service, excellent food and very reasonably priced. A super lunch! The new Cote Bank is definately up to the normal high standards we have come to expect from Cote Brasserie.
Staff were attentive, the food was delicious and we had a lovely lunch. The side dishes we had (carrots and green beans) were generously sized and very good. Thank you.
Brilliant as ever. Exceptional service -our waiter even remembered me from last time ! Best place in the City for a delicious , well priced lunch
Table of 8 booked for a team breakfast meeting. Very good food, service, atmosphere and value for money, we will be rebooking. Thank you Cote at Bank
Whilst breakfast was excellent, as a group we all commented with regard to the time it took to complete breakfast. Booking was made at 8am, so that we could all be at our desks by 9am.... whilst we arrived at 8am we did not receive breakfast until 8.45....... this was disappointing as there were only 3 other tables being occupied. Some of the people therefore had to leave early without finishing breakfast and having to pay. Service and venue was excellent though
Very nice lunch. Very pleasant and attentive staff and very quick service which is very much needed in the City. The food came out very quickly and it was delicious and presented very nicely.
Service was appalling, had to wait over an hour for food and when we mentioned this to one of the members of staff, he was extremely rude and patronising. One of our parties dishes didn't even arrive! We will not be returning or recommending to any of our colleagues.
We had a table booked at 2.15pm. The restaurant was pretty empty, yet the person i was with had steak frites which was cold. (The butter on the top of the steak did not melt). They took it away, but left my pork belly with me, which meant that i had to eat mine seperately, otherwise mine would have been cold. Not very impressive on a virtually empty restaurant. to me, it appears lazy cooking.
Food was great. Staff were lovely but inexperienced. We tried to redeem a gift card and it took them half an hour to work out how to do it after initially telling us they didn't know what the gift card was and didn't know how to redeem it (it was the gift card bought online through the Cote site that simply said show this code to your waitress / waiter before paying your bill and said that it's redeemable at every Cote restaurant).
A nicely served tasty meal. Our thoughts go out to the staff in the restaurant and we hope that they do not suffer too much as a result of the loss of trade.
As ever the food is consistantly good at Côte However after being moved because we had been placed next to an incredibly noisy group of ladies we received very slow service. The restaurant wasnt overly busy so I am not sure why this happened.
Food and service as always was excellent. We got a free bottle of wine with the '1 year anniversary' deal.
Another lovely meal at Cote Old Jewry. Friendly staff, tasty food and comfortable seats. Excellent.
Generous and delicious. From the celeriac soup through to the fishcake and frites, lovely food. My fellow diner liked his roast chicken dish very much. I was impressed by the bread and butter (which I don’t usually bother with): pitched just right - fresh and flavourful. Cote also does well by me with consistent and enticing special offers, which is why I choose to go to Cote often. First time at Bank though and it’s now my new favourite.
Food was warm/cool. Poached Eggs were over done for everyone in the group. Server was not as friendly as normal.
A good value chain restaurant particularly in central London. Set menu perfectly adequate with a good choice. Staff efficient and professional. A wide selection of mainly French wine - the house white a better option than the Sauvignon Blanc Bergerac 2018 that could only be described as rough! I am a frequent user of Cote at various locations and it is generally about the same standard of food and service throughout.
Meal was lovely - restaurant was quiet but it was a Tuesday night. The service was a bit slow and lacking in places. The food was lovely except one side dish was cold but it was voluntarily taken off the bill so a good gesture. I would recommend but might need to be patient.
Absolutely brilliant! One of my favourite city spots! Luigi was fantastic and so was Hannes and the whole team. Food was lovely and great value. I gave it 5 on Trip Advisor, which I don't do often! Fab ambience and music. Chilled vibe. I just love it! Every time I have been the service is great so they must hire well.
Lovely food and great service. Also, great value for money and a lovely environment.
Sitting upstairs it wasn't the most pleasant as two large tables sat uncleared if previous diners' dishes for 2 hours whilst we had lunch. Maybe you need more waiting staff?
Very disappointed!! Booked for a table of 9 so they knew a group was coming. It was quiet but clearly the kitchen wasn’t capable of handling food for that many at once. We had 3 kids meals ordered but 4 of the adult meals came out first, then there was a long delay for the rest. No explanation or apology was made. When the kids food came one had a fried egg even though the waiter had clearly read back to us that we’d ordered scrambled. Another was supposed to be a bacon sandwich but was actually a baguette. So we had another long wait for the correct food. Still there was minimal apology for the delays & the mistakes. No offer of not charging us for the kids food we waited ages for. Really should have refused to pay the ‘optional’ 12.5% gratuity that is automatically added & should have made a complaint about the delays but we’d allowed 80 minutes for breakfast as we had somewhere else to get to & had to rush off since it’d taken so long to feed the kids. Now I’ve looked back at the bill & we were overcharged too. Wish we’d stuck with the Premier Inn breakfast where the kids would have been free & wouldn’t have waited nearly an hour for 2 of the kids to get their food.
Cote Bank is a nice restaurant, good service and lovely food. Recommended.
Our time at Bank was very good. We did like the food and the service was very good
Have not visited this branch before but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
