The staff were really friendly. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. There are lots of menu options. We had 3 courses with wine and a glass of port to finish, and the prices seemed very reasonable. The food was very tasty, I would definitely go again.
Amazing food in a great place with lovely environment and incredible personnel. One of the best places in Exeter for lunch, dinner or just coffee and cake.
The service was excellent and our waiter was a total dish!!! The staff were great and the food was delicious.
Fantastic venue, lovely staff, wonderful atmosphere and great food. We'll definitely be back!
Everyone at the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. Service was quick, and the food was delicious, Our party of 9 did not phase them at all. I would certainly recommend eating there if you want something a little different than the usual restaurants you would go to. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. Thank you Neil and Ana, who are great hosts too.
Very good food well presented and a short but good wine list
Fantastic monkish rice, Portuguese brulee was delicious. Best part is the lovely service, as always.
What a lovely place for leisurely lunch - we'll be going back very soon!
Relaxed atmosphere, good food and Portuguese custard tarts to die for!
Great wine list - fizz is pricey, but with so many delicious Portuguese wines (particularly the vinho verde), who needs it? I like upstairs as it's quieter and such lovely rooms. Service, staff and food all delightful.
A great little restaurant with a real Portuguese feel and excellent service and food.
Tasty food, good value and friendly efficient service. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Recommended.
Good quality food and friendly service. Will definitely go there again
I keep bringing my friends to try this place ... and so far they've all loved it too.
Food was OK. Good service and friendly atmosphere. Good wine selection. A different menu on a cold wet night in Exeter. Maybe not true Portuguese food, but worth a try.
Really enjoyable - everything's good: service, food, drinks. We will visit again.
The food was very good with the ‘specials’ option taking the concept of seasonality to the extreme (every course included chestnuts!) Service was fine although I’m not convinced my wife and I want to be referred to as ‘you guys’. The decor more suited to summer than a cold, wet November day in Devon. Overall, though, I would certainly eat there again.
We had a lovely time and the food was fantastic. Katarina looked after us very well
Delicioso e perfeito! Came for brunch this time - omelettes, steak sandwiches etc just as good as the more traditional/larger meals and exactly what we needed.
First time I've been in the evening - excellent as ever, despite being very busy.
Excellent Portugese food. Great, friendly service with advice. Had octopus in garlic and clams. Good wines also served in relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Going there felt like a little trip to Portugal. The atmosphere and food is very nice. Staff very attentive.
I've been twice this week - even brought my husband - it's that good.
My favourite place to lunch, although this time we had four lots of the delicious bar snacks and starters and a lot of wine! Lovely.
We had a brilliant time - great food, great place and the wine list is excellent value too
So delighted with this place! What a find - charming staff, delicious (properly Portuguese) food and excellent wine. We will be back VERY soon.
Amazing food and staff are all really lovely and helpful. Traditional Portuguese meals. Will definitely be going back
