Enjoyable visit. Lovely food and wine and good portion sizes. Excellent value for money along with singing manager/owner.
The food wasn't that great, no one I went with really liked or finished their meal. They had a bar full of alcoholic drinks but no cocktail menu or a bartender who could make cocktails. Very very small inside the restaurant. The ladies toilets are so impractical, only slim ladies could fit in the cubicles, the door is so close the toilet seat it is ridiculous. Granted the workers were nice and it was a calming atmosphere but everything else let it down.
A welcoming neighbourhood restaurant serving good food with great staff.
Very nice food, friendly staff, clean restaurant. Enjoyed our meal overall
Absolute gorgeous food! The set out of the restaurant wasn't fancy but the food and service were absolutely amazing!!
Lovely meal, food was delicious and will defiantly be going back again
Really nice and friendly staff who take care of each client. The wine and the pizzas are amazing and made with fresh ingredients. Strongly recommended!
Great food and nice staff, will definitely go back. But will ask for a table away from the door. It was winter and we were very cold every time the door opened and closed. Also the toilets could do with being a bit more pleasing to visit.
This place was fantastic. The waiters were friendly, the service was attentive without being in any way over-bearing, the ambiance was pleasant and the food was sensational.
Nice ambience, good food (though the 14-inch pizze are a challenge!), attentive and pleasant staff and management. Four of us had different meals and all were enjoyed. Altogether a good experience.
We loved this place. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Such a friendly welcome and goodbye. Would recommend.
Best bolognese I've had in yrs. Host was entertaining, would definately go back. The place is clean and feels homely, I express my gratitude to the chef that made my meal that day!
The place is very nice and we enjoyed the food, the prices are also lower than the average of London. The service is a little bit slow, but it’s ok.
This was a friendly, welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a fairly varied menu. The food is delicious with large portions! It's necessary to book if eating later as it does get crowded. The decor is a bit dilapidated and the downstairs area smells damp but we had a good experience and shall certainly visit again.
Last time we enjoyed our meal here but this time the tagliatelle were sticky and stodgy, with a rather glutinous sauce. Service very friendly but slow.
What a gem of a restaurant! Great value; wonderful food; a house wine that exceeds expectations and a congenial host. Just try it. You'll go back again and again.
A very friendly restaurant. We had the two-course lunch menu, which was good value and included an unusually tempting choice of desserts. It was packed with happy lunchers.
Great food, lovely setting. Menu has a good selection of traditional Italian food. Service was quick and attentive. Beautifully set out tables and decor. Couldn't have asked for more.
Delicious food. friendly staff, very nice atmosphere! We were staying at hotel nearby and this little restaurant was a great find - would highly recommend!
We had a really nice meal here last night for my daughters 18th birthday. My husband and daughter had pizzas which they claim to be one of the best they've ever had and the asparagus & ricotta ravioli I had was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and always a good sign when there are lots of Italians in an Italian restaurant!! Will definately be back
Lovely little place, great staff and service, and the main thing the food Can’t fault it absolutely lovely. One criticism No breadsticks on the table. But that’s just a personal thing I guess.
Great service, great atmosphere, great food! We would certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to return one day! It is a great neighbourhood gem and great quality for the money!
We ordered gnocchi, sold out, then ordered a chicken dish, sold out, ended up having pizza and this was only 8.30 pm on a Saturday evening. Pasta was good, fish dishes were ok, these were served with a few pieces of carrot, two small florets of broccoli and very dried up roast pieces of potato. Desserts were nice. Overall not very impressed. May return for a pasta dish sometimes
Great service and the pizza is wonderful - really thin, crispy crust. Prices are very reasonable and the outdoor seating was quite comfortable. Happy we went here.
Great "fixed price" menu. Plenty of food well cooked and presented. Staff really helpful and friendly.
A fabulous authentic Italian restaurant! I just wish I lived nearby and it could be my regular. The service is brilliant, and the food is wonderful!
Love it at Conchiglia. Pizza is amazing. Service is always great. Possibly not the trendiest restaurant in the area but our trips to London wouldnt be the same without eating here.
It's not our first time but the food and service are always great. Will always go back if we want authentic Italian food!
Very large, thin crust pizzas with a reasonable amount of toppings. Restaurant is old-school Italian and although it's looking a little tired around the edges, especially the toilets, the friendly welcome and service make up for it.
Warm welcome, good food, comfortable surroundings, moderate prices. My guest and I both ate from the daily menu which is great for a lunchtime meal.
The Americana Pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a visit. The pasta was also very nice, but pizza is out of this world.
If you love authentic Italian Pizza, this is the place. We often go there for our friday team pub lunch. Its a friendly place. try it
As a regular I always enjoy the experience of dining at Conchiglia. As usual the food was delicious and well presented. Very attentive service and made to feel very welcome.
The manager was friendly, good relaxing ambience and some different Italian dishes on the menu. friendly service. Early evening but business was brisk. All good.
Another splendid evening at Conchiglia. Food was excellent as usual and exceptional value. Amazing to find such a gem so close to Oxford Street. S.V.Q.
Made to feel very welcome by the owner. Food and wine delicious. Great location, just a 2 minute walk from Great Portland Street tube. Will definitely be back.
A very nice local restaurant, with the owner supervising everything himself. We all had delicious pasta and thought we were in Italy. So convenient for bars and hotels, and very reasonable. We will be back!
Good food, wine and Service, GREAT VALUE! Quiet dinner for one while working in London. The menu has great choice, great value. I will certainly return.
Conchiglia is slightly off the beaten track (a good 5 minute walk from Oxford Street and from a number of underground stations) and is better for it. It is a family run, traditional Italian restaurant providing the full array of expected menu choices (pizzas to steak) - if anything, the menu is too extensive. The service was excellent in a very professional and personable way, the food was all fresh, well presented and well cooked; we enjoyed the wines and the complimentary limoncello at the end was a nice touch. The atmosphere was slightly quiet but as it was just after new year this was to be expected and I expect it is usually busy at lunch and dinner time. The extra walk to reach Conchiglia compared to more accessible and typically more commercial restaurants is well worthwhile. We will add it to our list of Italian restaurants which we enjoy in London.
Il cibo era buonissimo e ci siamo trovati benissimo! The food was very good and we had a great time! Grazie - thank you so much!
Made to feel very welcome. Food and wine excellent, atmosphere was buzzy. The fish particularly was good and the prawns outstanding. Will be going back
Great little Italian restaurant hidden away on a street corner in a quiet part of Marylebone. Staff friendly and helpful, food superb, prices are low (for London, anyway).
Went with a group of 15 - owner very accommodating and made all feel welcome, all food was excellent, service was great. As close as you get to being in Italy on a cold evening in London!
Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian restaurant and no doubt in my mind that we would be returning in the future.
It was very good food and attentive staff. We would go there again. It was clean og pretty and they were quick to serve the food.
Lovely little restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the host. The food was great. The restaurant was busy, however that did not affect the service.
The Conchiglia was adequate but not exceptional. The nicest item we had off the menu was cassata - the nutty, fruity ice cream. However that item is not made in house. It is bought in. As for the rest - okay but not inspired. Other aspects - service etc - were fine. Gratuity is included in the bill which seems odd.
First of all the food was perfectly prepared and truly delicious, without pretentious presentation. The staff are charming and attentive, especially the omniscient manager, who hovers benignly. We arrived early evening when the resto was empty, but it soon filled up with regular, loyal customers. So much so that we felt privileged to be admitted. The place is a little off the main W1 visitors' spoor, which must suit the locals, but do make the effort to find them. Cons? The choice is extensive making decisions difficult and the menus limp. Not a deal breaker.
Fantastic evening - helpful and friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere and delicious food for extremely reasonable prices. Portions varied but were generally a good size - ingredients were of high quality. We were very happy!
We enjoined the dinner very very much .The service was very attentive and the food exccellent. We plan to go to this restaurant a few more times during our stay in London. Also I would like to mention the athmospher was excellent and at very reasonable prices.
