The staff are absolutely lovely don’t infringe on your personal space, attentive and the gentleman serving from experience & observation always treats Customers specially then there is the food which is authentic & divine I always have 3 courses & everyone I’m with enjoy their food & we all have varying tastes. You should not be disappointed if the restaurant keeps up with this service & excellent food.

Very good restaurant, familiar and authentic italian cuisine! Pizzas were great, pasta excellent and fresh salads. Dessert as well excellent. Service was very kind and make you feel relaxed and happy. I visited a lot of Italian restaurant but this one won’t disappoint you as everything is extremely well prepared. The only improvement they could do are details: at the entrance they have the trolley with services, napkin and other things.... this look disorganized because the deco is great otherwise... same on the coffee machine, there are some towels (a lot of them) and this is as well not really nice. The fresh roses at the entrance of the restaurant could be more present in the rest of the restaurant... but these are details and critics....from someone like me who worked for the best small Boutique Hotels in the world.... Relais & Chateaux... and did the Hotel School of Lausanne. Will recommend this place for anyone who looks for a nice and simple evening, with friends, families or even a romantic Dinner at a very affordable price!

Good quality Italian food without being spectacular, nice setting and clean, attentive service. Perhaps the decor a fraction tired, the toilets (and the basement level to walk through to get there) a bit run down but overall a good middle of the road experience. A couple of minor but odd things - the music was a strange mix of 50s easy listening and 80s pop: would probably not have noticed other than the waiter was very keen to sing along intermittently but loudly and very out of tune - definitely raised a few eyebrows, but more in a giggly way!

Great risotto, friendly service, fine wine and enjoyable evening. OK

Quite enjoyable experience. Food was delicious, but a bit bland, needed more spices used in the Risotto carbonara. The regular carbonara was much more flavorful. The desserts were all very good and not overly sweet, so a good finish to the dinner.

Friendly, family welcoming. One of my favourites. Looking forward to the next time.

We booked a table (for 8) for a joint birthday celebration. From start and right through till the end, Conchiglia didn’t disappoint. Excellent food and outstanding service throughout, with great atmosphere - a little gem of a restaurant. I highly recommend this place! And I will definitely be back there myself.

We did not stay for dinner, and we are so glad we didn't. It took 15 minutes to get the waiter's attention, another 20 minutes to receive water, another 10 minutes to order our food and then another hour before receiving a single caesar salad - 2 were ordered. Neither was prepared correctly - both had dressing on the salad when both were meant to be on the side. There were croutons on neither and one weirdly had tomatoes and the other didn't. Not only that, the dressing was clearly not a caesar dressing. When we complained that it had been an hour and a half and there was no sign of pastas AND our salads were wrong, it appeared as though the situation was not going to be resolved anytime soon. We wound up leaving without eating food, as the situation was completely ridiculous. I will never go back to this restaurant again, as there is much better service and food quality for Italian in the surrounding area.

A restaurant a stopped using as I felt the food had gone down hill but a couple of weeks ago, returned but was once again disappointed . This week I decided to give it just one more chance and had the worst meal yet! I ordered Fritto Misto expecting some lightly fried fish in breadcrumbs or batter but instead was presented with a plate of slimy under cooked white fish with two overcooked prawns. When I told the owner I was unhappy he just shrugged and walked away, I certainly won't be returning.
