Very easy to park, very friendly staff and delicious food. Thank you
This is the first time I been there. I live closer and driven past many times. The foods was delicious and staffs are friendly. We will come again
Despite being really busy, we were really well looked after, The staff were professional and friendly. The food was very good. The rhubarb and custard sundae's were particularly delicious.
Great atmosphere, staff were very friendly. Food was good and a good selection of drinks.
One of the meals was wrong and no refund offered for that meal, quality of my food wasn’t great and I left over half of it, we won’t be eating here again
Great place with great views over Portsmouth and the harbour. Good value offers on food wide range of ales and beers available
Very disappointed to have to order food and drinks at the bar and carry own drinks back to table as we expected table service (like most pubs these days). Do you perhaps have a staff shortage or is this the norm?
Food was hot but we did not find it very tasty. Service was good
Food was good not rushed and lovely surroundings and staff
Friendly efficient staff. Nice atmosphere. Great views over Portsmouth. Nice food. Good price.
Lovely, professional, helpful staff. Good atmosphere, wonderful food and a glorious view.
Three of our party ordered steak sandwiches-all were cooked exactly as we wanted -blue/rate/medium rare Delighted with the quality of food
Meal was average ie gammon steak no onion rings everything else okay, waitress brought my starter and mains out at the same time calamari was hard very little salad, scampi and chips okay no creamy minted peas so for £29.90 very disappointed
Poor food choices Many items not available Waited over an hour for our food The steak was cold
Our meals were cooked to perfection and served with a smile. The food prices were good .
Our first two chosen main courses weren't available. The third choice Hunter's Chicken was very dry as was the third choice steak and ale pie. The pie came without vegetables as they had run out, but the waitress did offer gravy as a substitute. Staff were welcoming and did apologise as a new chef had just started on the day.
Disappointed as there was a new menu and half the items were not available so was unable to have what we wanted.
Service was good although unable to have any pie related food as they had an oven down . The pasta dish was bland and needed something to bring it together the bits in it had flavour but not enough to lift the dish .
We love the Churchillian Pub, the staff are very friendly and helpful, we had lovely food and a lovely evening. We often sit outside in the summer with great views all round.
No peas with main and maybe ice cream or a little cream with profiteroles would have been nice!
The food was very nice. Drinks expensive. Booking with quandoo was a disaster, booked with them on line. Received confirmation. On arrival at restaurant, no booking had been registered with them .
Party of 8 & 2 were not able to order the meals whey wanted due to missing menu items this was also the case for desert, it would have been a good idea to inform customers of what is not available before ordering
Good atmosphere, service and food at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more.
Good food and fairly present. Had to be moved to a different table due to not taking on board my request on my booking for no fixed chairs due to my wife's disability. But was changed quite quickly.
