Lovely visit once again to this restaurant. Service was absolutely fantastic - so attentive and pleasant. The food didn't disappoint either - I had tiger prawns to start which were lovely (the only thing I'd say is it might be nice if they come with a piece of bread to mop up all the tasty juices!) and crispy duck for main - the portion size of this in particular was amazing! Perfectly cooked and just a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going again soon!

Very enjoyable lunch with friends. We had a two course meal which came out hot (I have had experience of almost cold food from some places). The cost was very reasonable and the staff were very pleasant. Would definitely go there again.

our first and last visit, asked what soup of the day was , but waitress did not know, had to visit kitchen to find out.told it was vegetable, in fact it was pumpkin, I hate pumpkin!! soup arrived with bread but no butter, butter came but no side plate!! my wifes main was risotto but she said it was very gooey. I had chicken BUT sauce was virtually pumpkin soup with a few spices, diasappointing. chef came to talk to us after main course, asked what soup was he confirmed pumpkin, when I told him I had been told it was vegetable he apologised. asked him what cheesecake of the day was he said he thought it was lemon BUT he would have to check, why does a chef NOT know his own menu??!! my wife ordered pavlova for dessert BUT they brought profiteroles?? sent back, shortly after a very hard pavlova arrived.thank goodness I had cheese and biscuits the best course of the day. bill arrived and was wrong they had charged us full price for 2 desserts instead of set menu 3 course price!! bill also had large optional gratuity added, asked for this to be removed I decide gratuity NOT the restaurant!! eveyrone was very pleasant but waitress training sadly lacking, did not know menu, placed soup spoon on my left?no side plate for bread roll provided.my wife had dessert spoon BUT no fork,it was badly needed pavlova was very hard. they only had 4 customers for lunch but service was painfully slow, arrived 12.20 but did not leave until 13.55. sorry but really diasappointed with this meal, this restaurant is not for us!!!

The staff were very pleasent but not very attentive. The food was nice but there was hardly anything on the plate. We booked a "Sunday lunch with all the trimmings" and were really looking forward to a big roast lunch. I had 5 nuggets of steak for my "roast beef" and most of the plate was taken up by the gravy boat and the Yorkshire pudding. The others in our party had what can only be described as stir fried pork strips, no apple sauce. We did get apple sauce after we had finished our meal but it was out of a jar. We each had what equated to one small potato cut into 3 which really were sauté potato. The vegetables were really nicely cooked and it all tastes nice. I was told that they had a special offer to introduce the Sunday lunch menu so although the lunch was only £8.50 I would have much rather paid more and had a decent sized lunch with roast meats and lots of veggies. I had a pudding which was really nice and very welcome as I was starving after my lunch. My biggest deal breaker was the £4 per bottle which I was charged for the water that was already on the table before we arrived. Really bad practice as my children had opened it whilst I was sorting out one of the other guests. Salt and pepper was on the table and we weren't charged for that so don't put it on there unless it's complimentary!!! I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't go again.

We had a nice Sunday lunch using our Groupon vouchers, the food was of good quality and there was a good selection of vegetables. The portion was on the small side for the men in our group but what there was was tasty and hot. Service was a little slow but the reason why I do not give the Chelsea Bar and Grill a higher rating is that when we came to pay for our drinks there was a 20% 'optional' service charge - I question the 'optional' because the charge was added to the bill and we were about to be charged this 'optional' charge and I had to say that I did not want to pay it which was embarrassing. When I queried the tactic I was told that it is standard practice and a way of making up the staff's wages. I never tip by card, I always leave cash for the staff when there has been good service because I want to ensure that the cash goes to the staff. Slightly disappointing end to what was otherwise a pleasant lunch.

Lovely food, however a bit overpriced. We had a Groupon voucher but, because the menu was confusing, ended up spending far too much on top with deserts that we thought were priced at £2 extra as stated on menu but came on at full price. Also, service charge very high added to bill.

So me and three other family members went to dine at Chelsea bar and brasserie very nice place to eat decor wise, unfortunately my piticular meal was quite disappointing. I decided to try the sunday roast, the beef was very tough the few bits I had followed with potatoes that were average and hand full of veg o and a flattened Yorkshire. You can have all this for around £13 or you could pay less for better and more off at a toby carvery I know where I'll go in future for a Sunday lunch.

Haven eaten here many times and the food is outstanding, as well as the service. Only one moan. Even though the menu does state maybe mention that bread, olives, vegetables are at an extra price.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the staff couldn't do too much for us... the manager even offered to take our shopping bags and store them in his office. The food was delicious... the best seafood linguine I have tasted.

appearance was great and very clean. Service was great also. However the food was very salty, I would only go there for drink next time because of the amount of salt added to the food. Also the red wine jus was not a proper red wine jus-more like salty watery gravy with a hint of vinegar.

Disappointing. Tried to book online previous day for 1pm, nothing available. Only 12 or 12.30 or 2pm onwards. Chose 12.30. Approaching restaurant looked closed! We were first to arrive and then one other couple. No-one else there up to time we left around 2pm. Food not good value for money. Considering restaurant so empty of clientele you would expect order to be correct. Oh no, my order was missing the vegetable although promptly brought to table once pointed out. Hate having to chase things though. Would we visit again - no, sadly. Had been looking forward to treating ourselves, very disappointing. Also, PLEASE do not add tip to bill. I happily pay if left to choose, but hate being pushed. Yes, paid it but felt uncomfortable not to as restaurant so empty. Waiter very polite but no character or interaction.

7 ate 4A 3C. £8.95 for a kids roast which I requested to be halved as she's 2 ans Got a tiny portion. I am a vegitarian and obviously caught the chef off guard as I got a battered carrot, broccoli and curry sauce with my roast potatoes and Yourshire. Drinks are over priced.

We had a wonderful evening, despite the fact that this reservation system did not, in fact, check availability or let the restaurant know we were coming. That they were able to literally re-arrange the furniture and cater for 12 unexpected diners in a packed restaurant says a lot for their customer service standards. The restaurant team were outstanding. Food was great. Next time I will book directly

Went to celebrate a birthday, Saturday night the restaurant was full, the staff were very helpful, the selection on the menu was excellent. Food was excellent. The only criticism was that our drinks took a while to arrive, due to the bar staff pouring one drink then walking the whole length of the bar to put it on a tray, to then walk back to pour another.

The food and service was of a very high standard. The ambience in the restaurant was also very good, a modern wine bar / brasserie feel. Good quality cutlery and glasses something that I always judge a restaurant on

Went there for the first time the service was ok but the waiteress where training. We went using our Gourmet society card which was 50% off food to find it wasn't off side food dishes, very misleading so please be aware. Very inexperienced staff not knowing stuff about the menu had to consult the chef to find out stuff which in a professional outfit should not straight away. Quite disappointed for our first visit.

My wife and I came for lunch and it was our first visit to the Chelsea Brasserie and it was very nice and the decor inside was lovely chic and modern. It was quiet and we felt like the service very good and were made to feel very welcome. The food was great and we had starters of soup of the day which was very tasty and I hadcthechicken strips which was nice and succulent. We both opted for beef burgers and fries and they looked as good as they tasted. All and all it was very good and I highly recommend you go for a visit as we will def return again and try the evening menu.

Rather disappointing I'm afraid. Some of the charcuterie looked fresh out of the supermarket packaging and the beef was so overcooked. At times I felt like I had to guide the staff when it should be the other way around. Won't be going back.

Quite a smart restaurant. The service was fine. The food was more or less ok for the price. However, there are better options in town.
