This place seriously needs renovation, sofas chairs even staff uniform everything is so dirty and worn out. At this kind of location, this restaurant doesn't suits.

Really impressed with the quality of the food here. Menu is a good range of classic Indian restaurant dishes some with a small chefs's twist but nothing to scare the unadventurous. Good selection of sides/starters/small plates which Portion sizes were decent without leaving you bloated. Staff were attentive and the pricing is very reasonable. Lovely setting on the riverside as well. Best thing overall was the quality of the food for the price, a lovely meal for a reasonable price in a great location. What's not to like ?

I am a local resident, never visited before, will now become my go to, food was delicious and service exceptional…

we had a large party so we were asked to pre order so I assumed that when we arrived they would take our drinks order and the. bring out the food. but we waited 10/15mins to be asked for drinks then I asked if the food is coming and they said they will tell the chef and it will be 15/20mins. portions were smaller than expected, wasn't as tasty as expected. food was ok but not for us I don't think. service was ok, could have been better

We had a very nice meal with great service and a lovely setting overlooking the river.

Excellent food quality and portions (particularly rice), but aubergine curry a bit hot and naan a little flat. Given a brownie topped with ice cream and a candle to celebrate my birthday, even though only mentioned in passing - nice touch!

The staff team were interested and pleasant, allowing us to arrive at our table slightly earlier than intended. The service and attention we received was very positive and the food we chose was full of flavour, well presented and suited us both very well indeed. The internal facilities were a little sparse and lacking in character. There was also a big negative for us, something not entirely within the control of the restaurant team, with a group of 6-people who arrived just after us, who were incredibly disinterested in the well-being and ambience within the restaurant for other guests. They were very noisy, loud and only interested in themselves, which to be honest hastened our departure, as we had had enough of their inconsiderate behaviour! That said, we would recommend this restaurant as worth trying.

Staff very helpful and attentive, food was original with some nice selections. Not sure about offering Chinese options. The day was warm so could eat outside with riverside views.

First time at Chakra and will definitely recommend and go again. Menu is different to standard Indian offerings and is really quite excellent, really tasteful and good portions. The restaurant was quiet and so the service was very attentive and we weren't rushed. Slightly on the higher side of pricing but not too much and well worth it. Also the location on the riverside is really nice. Try it, you wont be disappointed.

Our first visit and wasn’t sure what to expect. A different menu from what we are used to. We were pleasantly surprised and thrilled with the delicious flavours. We will be visiting again.

Rubbish service, dirty glasses, taking away food and drinks when not finished. Ended up giving us lots of complimentary drinks and dishes.

Chakra is a lovely restaurant. Our family and I had an amazing time and the staff there Dev and Granth were absolutely wonderful. All very attentive, great food and drinks and a beautiful restaurant to be in - well recommended!

Amazing food and ambience ♥️ Hot and sour soup made me remember india, it was that delicious 🤤 And the food was also really yummy and just loved it😍😍
