Service from all the staff was fantastic, all were really polite and helpful. Sandwiches and cakes were made fresh and tasted lovely. The only minor comment we had, was that we asked for brown bread and we were given white for a few of the sandwiches. I would recommend to family and friends and I would go again. Really good value.

Great service and a nice surprise with balloons on the table and desserts and ice fountain on a congratulations plate at the end. Lovely food and a complimentary cocktail for all 4 guests. Made our Graduation celebrations very special, thank you! 😄

I have visited many fine restaurants over the years and did think I would be adding this one to the list totally wrong disgusting noisy dirty over priced my wife sent her first steak back as it was a lump of gristle second one was no better my fish was cold burnt floppy leeks and when my wife asked for mayonnaise she was given a small pot of Heinz mayo a la carte?? don’t think so they offered us a 10% discount with hindsight we should have refused to pay but couldn’t wait to get out from there so dissatisfied and upset as the pictures of the food on the website were very misleading dont go here we totally wasted £85 terrible experience

Had a lovely meal with friends, sweet treat for my birthday complimentary, attentive staff, amazing views. Pitty couldn’t go outside due to slippery surface! Would recommend to go and would come back again if only to go on sunny day and enjoy spectacular views! Fab decor and building!

Checked the restaurant out as we were looking for wedding venues. Very average food, we did mention our thoughts and were fobbed off with some utter tosh about "crisp pork belly" being broiled and therefore shouldn't be crispy :) lol A particularly breezy room (I constantly had to close over the door to the terrace). Liverpool has a wealth of excellent restaurants offering wonderful food, this place is distinctly meh, which is a shame as the views were lovely

Booked the table for my sisters 50th and my Dads 83rd birthday and didn’t know until we arrived that it was afternoon tea and only a set menu on. Because i was treating them it would have been nice to have more choices.

It was a nice enough restaurant (advertised as high end but isn't in my opinion) but the food could have been better seasoned. The service felt rushed (a waitress came to ask us about 5 times in less than 10 mins if we were ready to order, although we were still clearly reading the menu!) Waiting staff felt overwhelmed even though the place wasn't full. Overall value for money is good though.

Extremely dissatisfied, booked this as a late valentines treat as we were In Liverpool for a weekend break Advertised as a champagne bar with stunning views of the docks definitely mis sold The entrance to the hotel looks like an office entrance nothing in the lobby to direct you not enough seats in the bar /waiting area small and no draught beer given menus to peruse Shown to our table and the decor looked like work in progress not the opulence of the titanic we were then presented with different menu options very confused having preselected items on the wrong menu We ordered wine which was warm and the wine glasses on the table didn’t match and looked like cheap ikea glasses and no salt and pepper on the table no black pepper offered The starters were poor ,the steak was chewy and then a male in a suit grabbed the wine bottle and topped our glasses up far fuller than we wanted as we were trying to chill the warm wine in the wine bucket No hello how are you no would you like your wine topped up if this guy was the head waiter he needs re trained in customers service We chose not to have a dessert on the basis of the first two courses And then we were presented with the bill which only had the wine on it and being extremely honest we pointed this out and the waitress thanked us and presented the correct bill but would have expected the suit to have come over and thanked us or offered a free drink and we were never asked how our experience was We them left the restaurant and passed numerous members of staff with no thank you have a nice evening or acknowledgement I booked this restaurant on the idea of looking out on the famous docks the balconies were closed off so again mis sold And to rub salt in the wound we took the open top bus tour of the city and the building and the bar were mentioned on numerous occasions needless to say I’ve mentioned this in their review to remove that the baclcony has stunning views of the docks in theirs commentary as we never got to experience this Would have given it zero if this was an option The rest of our weekend was amazing what a great city and building but let down by this establishment

I booked on-line for a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday. I then rang yesterday to the hotel to check the details of the booking. When we arrived we were told carpathia was shut for building work and the afternoon tea was in the main hotel restaurant just off reception, I was disappointed as I had not been told neither on line or on the phone that it would not be in carpathia, I had also looked at paroramic and chose carpathia over it as it was a special occasion. We sat amid groups of people coming in and wheeling their suitcases out and staff showing people around presumably for weddings. There was no atmosphere stall and we felt like we were in the way. The food was ok but not worth £25 each and I was probably already just in a bad mood from the misleading booking. I did tell the waitress upon paying but didn’t want to make too much of a big deal because of the occasion. The staff however were lovely and very attentive

No atmosphere, red wine glasses - none! Cheap! Steak, cheap and chips not cooked. Sauce bland. Bartender for cocktails the only thing worth a smile

Sadly our meal and experience didn't live up to the expectations. Rushed service, being interrupted twice during our starter to ask if we were ready for our mains... we weren't exactly slow eaters and it was quiet in the restaurant, so this felt a little unnecessary. Then main meals were bland and lacked any imagination or attention to seasoning and detail. The best part of the meal, was the view from the terrace and a long island ice tea to drown our disappointment! Not a place for foodies.

Ordered fillet but got rump. Didn’t have the wine we ordered but ordered but we were charged for it anyway. (They corrected this) People constantly opening door near table letting in cold air and killing the ambience.

Lovely restaurant on the top floor of the hotel but it was freezing, the staff said it's because it was cold outside and they had people working there during the day. We had meals in the Carpathia on both nights of our stay but the set menu was very limited and I went for the al a carte menu but that was so expensive as my steak was £32. Lots of good restaurants in Liverpool so if I stop at the hotel again I will eat out.

very disappointed, ordered lamb main course which was only 2 chops which is not hard to cook. They came with 1 side seared and other side raw. Sent it back. They must’ve seared raw side for 10 seconds as it was still raw in middle could not eat it. I was in party of 4 so we were checking food out as my nephew is getting married here. We had several bottles of wine at £30 each and were asked to move tables for the next booking so felt rushed. We hadn’t even had a drink before being asked for our food order. Again we felt rushed. The wrong chicken main course was sent out to us also which was changed. The staff to be fair were very nice however our first experience here was not great. I hope this is not a reflection of how my nephews wedding will be
