Carluccio's - Wimbledon

Genrally vaty good, but they tad run out of my wife's favourite wine and our favorite liqiuer.

I was greeted and had to wait for my guest as I was early I was poured a glass of water immediately and given menues and told to ask if I need anything else whilst waiting.. the place was clean the waitress friendly but professional. We were also told good bye and thank you . quite rare in restaurants.

Lovely food, relaxed atmosphere and an absolutely great waiter who had us in stitches.

The staff were warm and welcoming and the food was good.

Good food but small portions and I don't like the 12.5% service fee included upfront.

Honestly , we had a brilliant family meal for 14 last evening. Service brilliant and food and drink was excellent. We had cocktails to start and the staff could not do enough for us . Many thanks

I had for a quiet table but we were put next to a family with children but they did leave before the end of the meal. The chicken was very tasty but I would have preferred peas to wilted greens which did not go with a sauce they just ended up soggy. I have repeatedly asked for handrails to be fitted either side of the main door but this has not been done. It is a very steep step.
