Carluccio's - Chester

Our table reservation was for 4pm. The restaurant was not busy at this particular time. We had to beckon the server to come to our table to take our order, as we had been waiting for a while. Once our order was taken, we didn't have to wait long for our food choices - one Lasagne and two Chicken Milanese. The food was well presented and we all enjoyed our meals. The server was friendly and willing to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Thank you.

We chose the 3 course meal but were charged for the 2 course plus full price puddings. A refund was given and apologies. We asked for more milk but it didn't arrive. Our water wasn't topped up. Overall the service wasn't good.

A very tasty main course and dessert, friendly and efficient service but very poor value for money. The portion sizes were very small (almost like starter courses). I couldn't understand why the restaurant was almost empty, when diners were queuing outside the door in other parts of the city centre. Now I realise why!

Very busy in Chester, arrived a little early, was seated inside, ordered and breakfast came a little later, very nice breakfast and also service was excellent

Friendly service, efficient at taking drinks order as 9 of us arrived in 3 separate groups, then took main order. However of the 7 who had poached eggs on their brunch, only 2 people had runny eggs which was a disappointment.

Place was buzzing on First Saturday in December. I was lucky to be able to book a table for 4 on Thursday. Once we ordered drinks and food came at a very acceptable pace. Staff were very friendly. Food was very good. Overall a good experience and we would return 😊
