Delicious food, small cozy restaurant, great staff and excellent service
The attentive staff were great and food was very authentic. Loved the ambience as well as the traditional Portuguese wine which was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Great food, really enjoyed the experience. Would eat there again
Delicious, authentic Portuguese food at a great price. Lovely service and polite staff. Will be returning.
Amazing food and a wonderful host in a lovely setting inside the railway arches
Don’t let the location or initial entrance to the venue effect your going. While not as flash as others in Leeds it does prove that you can’t judge a book by the cover. The staff were attentive and the food was wonderful. We had the prawns and the cod for our starters followed by Piri-Piri chicken and a stake. All was cooked to perfection. Great Place
Friendly service and authentic Portuguese food and wine on offer
Loved the garlic prawns and the spicy chilli sauce - yum !
No fuss, no frills, just good tasty authentic food and friendly service
Superb good thoroughly enjoyable evening Highly recommended Very reasonable price
Really great food. Service was excellent and will be one of my dinner regulars.
Amazing as always, couldn’t recommend this place enough! Can’t wait to return.
Food was fantastic, full of flavour and great portion sizes. Will be back.
Amazing food! Love you aziz thank you for everything and your lovely hospitality.
Excellent delicious food...and took a last min booking. ..highly recommend.
The food is always fresh and delicious at this place. More people should check it out. It’s small but friendly with some great dishes. Definitely try the garlic prawns, the moqueca and their egg tarts are out of this world. Thank you for a lovely date night to all the Aziz team :)
Lovely lovely food and very attentive service and good prices! My husband is portuguese and he thoroughly enjoyed the meal as did I. Very friendly staff. Try it!
Enthusiastic service but unfortunately very average food and quite overpriced. The setting felt a little awkward. However I can understand the high prices due to the location which must mean high rent. Maybe our options weren’t the best, but we wouldn’t return. Thanks for great service though.
The restaurant was really good and the food was amazing like homemade food should taste! The owners are really nice and welcoming, I’ll definitely come back again for another good lunch. The portions are big and there is great value for money on the meal deals, the only problem was that we had to wait too much for the food. I’m not sure if this problem happens everyday but if happens I strongly advise them to improve their agility. Other than that I had such a great time at Cantinho do Aziz!
Excellent food, well worth a visit! Service excellent and lovely Sangria. Different Portuguese dishes on menu and plenty to choose from. Lovely seating area upstairs.
A lovely family run cafe/restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Not posh nosh just simple, delicious, authentic, well cooked food with flavours of Portugal/Mozambique & Brazil too!
I visited Cantinho Do Aziz - Leeds twice this year; the first time with my family and the second time with two of my best friends. On both occasions, I was delighted! The experience was tremendous, not only the food was delicious, but the service was outstanding. I will definitely revisit. I can safely say I am a big fan, and so are the people who visited the place with me. Complements to the friendly staff and Chef!
As a portuguese native I have visited most of portuguese restaurants in London and in the North of England. At Cantinho do Aziz, the quality of the food is so high-standard that I feel literally transported to my mom's house. From the starters, to the mains and even their many cakes are absolutely delicious. Customer service here is the most welcoming experience I have ever had in a restaurant and when the bill arrives you feel that the entire experience is just perfect. Recommend to anybody who enjoys a fun and welcoming environment with the best food ever!
Food and atmosphere was good however I came away smelling of chip grease after sitting inside. I would 100% recommend dining here outside. Great place to dine
Great atmosphere, great food and lovely family run diner..! Definitely making this my go to place when I’m in town..! Great value for money, TASY..!
its in a close area to the city centre, cheap and was like being abroad. The food was lovely atmosphere different and was nice to see the food being cooked.
Great food and very friendly staff. The caipirinhas were amazing. I will definitely come back. I can recomend this restaurant for any occasion. Good prices.
Lovely service. And quick, and the food was wonderful!! Looking forward to go back and have some more deliscious food! I will recommend to all my friends!
We were warmly welcomed by the owner, the food was really excellent and the music provided an authentic Portuguese feel. A great restaurant under the arches.... we would come agan.
lovely restaurant with authentic portugese food. Pastel de nata was amazing. very big portions and good value. Staff were very friendly. vege options were limited, but my vege friends enjoyed what they had.
I will not be returning due to the fact that they state that their meat is Halal which disgusts me. I will point this out to anyone who considers going.
Fabulously tasty food, with an interesting menu. Great value, particularly with the lunchtime deals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
The restaurant has great food and drinks and friendly environment. The prices are quite reasonable and the location is good. Definitely will come back soon.
Great location, Staff were excellent as was the food,a genuine simple authentic menu and very good prices. Would highly recommend. We will be returning with friends
Really loved the food, and the service was very friendly. The fish & seafood dishes are amazing, fresh and full of flavour, with good sized portions. Would definitely recommend.
My friend and I went for lunch on a very cold day. The upstairs room was decidedly chilly with just one small heater at the other side of the room from our table. When the diners there left we asked for the heater to be moved over nearer to us. This was quickly done and we became a little warmer. We had prawn starters followed by baccalau and a glass of wine. The meal, wine and service were all very good and we enjoyed our visit despite the cold.
Great find in Leeds , A cantina it is , with great food and service and excellent value for money. Look forward to a return visit.
Love the Prawns!!! Really nice food, great atmosphere. Adding an extra eighteen words to fill up the twenty five word minimum count. And three more.
Looks a bit dodgy, food is alright, kitchen looked okay, staff are lovely, surreal experience, went for Valentine's day and they made an effort to create a romantic experience with roses and confetti, not a lot of space though
Received a really warm welcome. The food was amazing, the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place. Hidden gem in Leeds. Thoroughly enjoyable experience
Fabulous food. Beautiful ingredients with a very authentic menu. 5* start to finish and would definitely come back and bring friends and family. We'll done Cantinho do Aziz!
Improvement in air conditioning, it's a bit col inside, but the food is great, especially the cod with cream and the moqueca. The desserts are equally good!
All was perfect. Nice staff. We really enjoyed. Portuguese Delicious : Bacalhau com nata and Portuguese beer "Sagres"..6+++++ We definitely go again. Thank you a lot guys.
