Went for our wedding anniversary, and had a 10/10 experience! Our host was phenomenal and knowledgeable, and we stayed at the bar for drinks post-meal too. Would recommend!

Lovely food and attentive staff. Second time there on 2 weeks

Haven't been here for a couple of years as I thought the food went down hill - gave it another try - very mediocre - Turkey was dry, all the veg for the Turkey dinner was the same as the veg for the sea bass meal - Sprouts with sea bass!!! The tartlet case for the goats cheese tart is sweet shortcrust pastry!!! Sorry, but spoilt my mum's birthday....did comment but nothing said on exit.

The food was not the best. Most of us had the goats cheese tart for starters but it was so dry, we had to order water to help us eat it. Good portion of turkey with the turkey made, but the sprouts were hard and The roast potatoes were really crispy but also tasteless and the gravy on my plate congealed. Had the chocolate brownie, which really was too rich for the small amount of ice cream that you were given with it. Service was really really good, but I doubt if I would ever visit Buckle and Vaughn again.

This was just one of many lunch time visits. Always excellent service great atmosphere and food is excellent. Set menu offers great food choice and good value for three course meal. Well worth a visit.

We both had the same starter which was scallops which was very tasty. Then my friend had the lamp chops which he said were excellent and I had the fish and seafood - I had to remind them that it said that it came with rice - they provided a salad oddly instead of the rice on the menu so that had to be corrected although they did leave the salad too. I had to ask for my glass of wine that had been ordered 3 times. Coffee was extremely strong - I liked the coffee - my friend did not as he said it was too strong. The atmosphere was really good in the front part of the restaurant and dead in the back part. We got put in the back part and I asked to be moved which they did - I wondered if that was because we booked through Quandoo and not direct as previously I had always sat in the front when we had booked direct. Overall a good meal.

Really great service and yummy food. Can’t ask for more.

Good food and service, not as busy as normal for this time of year

Lamb was a bit chewy and roast potatoes a bit hard. Everything else was as good as usual.

The service is good. The waitress is not in this service for long but she tries her best to provide satisfactory service in particular to my disabled friend.

Very nice restaurant, very nice staff, great food and a good atmosphere. From previous visits waiting times can be a little long when busy so make sure you bring great company with you.

Great food and service a great place for an occasion

I have been many times before and it never disappoints. The set menu is amazing and plentiful. My favourite local restaurant.

It is a nice local restaurant, would definitely recommend it. We went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full, so you should book in advance.

It was quiet on a Tuesday night but a nice local place to meet with friends.

Unfortunately the steak was extremely tough but the rest of the meal was ok The staff are excellent as usual A bit disappointing

Amazing food lovely space a table by the window to celebrate my dads 92nd birthday. Staff lovely brought my dads out a dessert with candle plate decorated with happy birthday such a lovely touch

Always love going to B&V lovely service always by staff and ambient lighting which is what’s needed to end a busy week at work and unwind. Only I’d love it if they changed their menu as it would be good to see more variety. Otherwise always a good place to be with friends.
