Amazing service and the best food I've had in a long time! ! Very good value for money!! Would deffo come back here again. Did not disappoint!

First visit tried the death by bacon burger and the plater from the bbq which was nice but the pulled pork and brisket was still quite fatty could have been cooked at a lower heat lower heat longer to render the day still nice though

Was excellent all round but we were sat right under a speaker which made it hard to have a conversation with the table. Great food & good portions.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but this is a wee gem on the royal mile! very tasty, great lunch menu/deal. highly recommend and will be back

The food was great and portions very generous. One main meal will be enough for most people. Second time we've been here and will definitely be going back. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment as it can fill up quite quickly.

Without saying much, in a nutshell, it was braw. Food was excellent aswell as atmosphere and the waitresses were quite tidy. Which is a bonus. Tiny toilets though, kind of like being in a hobbit house.

Fantastic food wide choice of dishes to suit every meat lover. Great service, excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this to any one. Great birthday treat.

Overall Bubba Q is great Value apart from the drinks which are a little pricey. Service was friendly and quick. The food is absolutely incredible. For an authentic BBQ experience it is well worth it. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend.

There is lots of barbecue choice, from sandwiches to burgers and mains such as ribs. The portions are generous and the service was really quick.

Great service and really yummy food. Love smokehouse type food and we thought that we'd try this restaurant on our recent trip to Edinburgh, was quite a small restaurant, but was busy and worth the visit.

the place has great atmosphere, good service, very good food. when you walk down stairs all you smell is bbq! tasty milkshakes too, but too full to try the puddings!

Fantastic food. Very highly recommend. Portion sizes are very generous, I had the pulled pork with sweet potato fries and onion rings and had to share with others in my group. Also, the music was excellent! Lots of 90s rock. It was awesome.

Very nice food, quick service and didn't have to wait to long for my meal too. Staff were very helpful and I would definitely return to bubba Q again. 5/5 for me!

Nice new restaurant. Lots of food and was piping hot. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Ribs were especially tasty as were the pitt beans. Will return.

Just right having been on a train all day to get to Edinburgh. Excellent choice and quality with good prices. Price of drinks also excellent for a city centre (£4 for 175ml wine). Service quick, efficient and pleasant.

If you enjoy a good American BBQ, this is great. Reasonable prices for the touristy area of Edinburgh - it is centrally located which is good. Great service, imaginative menu.

Lovely little place. 4 of us ate here when we were in Edinburgh for the Hogmanay. We had 2 Pitmaster Plates to share and all the meat and sides were superb. A great find on the Royal Mile. Would go again if I go to Edinburgh again for sure!

First experience at bubba Q very big portions of food... Food was lovely. I tried the brisket and my other tried the chicken. The brisket was different but worth a try especially if you like pork belly. Staff were nice and friendly.

Food was great and staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help , good music while we ate was also a good bonus

I attended Bubba Q for the first time last night and can confirm that they provide great portions, great food, brilliant value for money. Only slight negative was that the staff could be a bit cheerier, however when you're stuffing your face you won't really notice them.

Enjoyed a lovely meal. Staff were fantastic (had a headache and staff member seemed to notice & dimmed the lights - slightly) small acts like this don't go unnoticed. Would recommend and return.

Great food, and excellent value for money as portion sizes are generous. Lovely friendly service, attentive without being overbearing. Looking forward to a return visit to explore more of the menu!

Very good BBQ. Reasonably priced for the town centre (drinks are a little pricey, but food about right). One of two or three excellent spots for this type of food in Edinburgh.

Good quality authentic BBQ / Smoke house. All food I ate was good. This included brisket, dynamite fries, burnt end beans. Good sauces too. Services was good. This was an ItIsOn deal and was exceptional value for money for 2 diners.

Being an American living in Scotland, I was looking forward to visiting. Myself and my boyfriend ordered the platter to share. Very impressive amount of meat, which was amazing, but was served lukewarm at best and it felt like it had been sitting out for awhile. It was also quite dry. The coleslaw was excellent though! And great value. Good concept, just needs to be fresher (and hotter)

Great food - massive portions! You have to come when really hungry otherwise you won't be able to finish your plate. Really pleased with food/drink but the customer service wasn't great.

Great music, fun surroundings and good food. The Dirty Burger is very weird but nice. The nachos are great to share. I was impressed I could have a root beer again after years of not seeing it around

The service in this place was great! The waitress was very friendly, and service was fast. We went for the lunch deal, which is really good value for money, and the food was tasty! The reason for 5 points instead of 6 is that the drinks were a bit on the expensive side, and for my sandwich, there wasn't a huge amount of filling, so it was a bit dry. However, our starters, and my partners main meal, were great! I'd definitely go back!
