Went here as part of a night out. Was great atmosphere and food was even better than expected

Quick service and amazing food, favourite place!! The brisket beef and mac and cheese is beautiful. Mouth watering food, in a comfortable setting. Will be back!

Myself and my girlfriend had heard about this place and decided to try it. We will definitely be back! The food was amazing and for the prices it was well worth it. Staff were very friendly too!

The milkshake and fries were really nice, but unfortunately the beef brisket was dry and tasteless, and the link sausages were not very seasoned or tasty either. I expected much better because a work colleague had been and highly recommended the food :(

Food was amazing, customer service could be worked on a bit, dirty looks from wait staff made the experience slightly uncomfortable apart from that I would recommend and visit again

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the dirty donut and it was fantastic, my wife had the brisket, which was nice too although maybe slightly too dry. We had thick shakes for desert, which were nice but the banana used in mine tasted unripened. Great overall experience, I would return

Good honest food in an unassuming environment. Be warned the portions are huge so make sure You are hungry! We enjoyed our visit and would definately eat here again.

Will definitely be back here. We had the ribs and wings to share as a starter, followed by a dirty burger. The food was amazing. The meat just fell off the bones. The milkshake is the best I have had ever!! Great place, great food, great service !!

Absolutely fantastic! You have to eat here.The service was great and the food was delicious and very generous portions. Booked a table and didn't have to wait as it was ready upon arrival.

Food good. Service very fast. Good for meat lovers. Reasonably priced. Was busy when we were in. Not very big inside,so probs best to book if you want to go.

Everything's tasted the same, it was ok but we won't be back felt like we were eating out in someone's garage Just not for us

Great food and friendly staff. Most food requires sides to be bought separate but it was also great.

Both had burgers which seems firm and unnatural in someway. The bun salad and sauces were excellent however. Good service. Would return to try again to check this may have been a on off as the reviews have been good.

Great value and amazing food! Nachos were easily big enough for 2 and the sides are also 2 person sizes (we made the mistake of ordering 1 fries each and some onion rings and ended up leaving some - I hate food wasteage!)

Great as always! Friendly service, food was quick to come out, and I was quick to eat it. Everything was delicious, though the portions are big so I didn’t manage it all.

Good service and price. Quality of meats are fine and selection of the side dishes are plenty. Large amount of food so suitable for a big stomach!

Loved the big sides but the mains lacked flavour. Seats were a bit uncomfortable. It would be good to see more soft drinks on the menu such as fruit juice.

Absolutely amazing food, served by friendly staff. This is our 3rd visit and I can’t wait to go back!!! The brisket is to die for-so tender. My husband had a burger which was so big it had to be eaten with a knife n fork!! We will be back soon

Food was excellent if you like American style slow cooked food, and burgers can't go wrong. Service was great. My husband said that it was one of the best burgers he's ever had.

Place was a lot busier than normal but service was still excellent and food was awesome as per.

Had an itison voucher so was good value for money. Great location too and my son loved his thick shake! I am a vegetarian so not great for me at all but was a birthday treat for my partner

Chicken was good, but needed a bit more taste. Tried some of my friend's brisket and it was just great! Some more veggie options would be nice, although this is a bbq place after all

Lunch menu is awesome value as always. Brisket banger is a winner!

Good sides and sauce and very good milkshake. Meat wasn't very good and a bit cold. Better quality ribs would really improve it. Shame as setting is really nice and staff are good.

Nothing like it in Edinburgh. Real American style bbq food. Brisket melted in your mouth, home made bbq sauces and a great selection of drink. Also really feel we got value for money with the 2 sides.

Amazing food, good value for money and a nice atmosphere :)!

Big portions and very reasonable. The brisket just fell away, mac and cheese was a nice creamy contrast for the dynamite fries too! Husband's burger was consumed in 3 minutes! The only con was the service was slow otherwise I can see us going back.

Great food. Very tasty. Would definitely return again, huge portions but we knew this so leave plenty room before you come here! Ribs and brisket are to be recommended.

Great tasting food, polite staff and very stylish, been to America several times and the food was just as nice as the BBQ houses in the states

Nice place. Not overly big. Good choice on the menu. Ordered a combo meal which included two main course items (ribs and brisket) really good portion size for the price. Drinks decently priced. Brisket a little dry though, ribs were amazing. Would go back.

Meal was lovel as usual, however was seated up stairs when the restaurant wasn't busy, wouldn't mind but you have to go all the way back down 2 use the bathroom.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Only complaint was the tiny bathrooms. It was a tight fit. I would highly recommend this place and will go back.

Bubba Q is mine and my friends favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The food is always fantastic, the ribs and chicken wings are so good we always order the same and the milkshakes are amazing. Great staff, very polite and attentive.

Meat sweats galore... portions are out of control and flavours are overwhelming... all in all a damned good feed... just brilliant. The staff are really nice too!

What can I say bubba Q is superb, the food was great. loved the brisket and pulled pork. The service was good, I will be back.

Reason for the 6 was the food, really nice and had a good night, customer service I won't score on as it was minimal and no customer focus, basically sit us down and take the order no interaction till the bill was due to be paid
