First time visit after being recommended by friends. We were not disappointed! Great food, well priced drinks, and friendly service. We will definitely be back!!

The food was great. Plentiful portions and no long wait. I did change my order which the waitress acknowledged but then didn't put through. A small thing that didn't ruin the overall experience at all.

What a great little restaurant!!! It has great BBQ, Blue moon, Coors and Budweiser!! The service was wonderful!! When you are walking down the Royal Mile, if the castle is at your back it will be on your left.. watch for the small street sign because we almost missed it.. it's down a set of stairs so there's no big store front.. the food was so good!! We are so glad we found it!! Even our teenage girls were pleased with the choices and food!!

While the staff were very friendly and the sides were delicious we were both really disappointed in the meats which were dry and overdone, the worst bbq experience we have had.

We went for lunch but we were able to order from the main menu. The food was very well prepared, flavoursome and came within good time. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and staff! Would highly recommend!

The food was excellent and I liked the choice of barbecue sauces available to try. I would definitely reccomend Bubba Qs to any barbecue fan in Edinburgh.

Food was awesome and the service was very friendly. Would definitely go back. Chicken wings, brisket and the pulled pork were really good. Not dry at all and tasted great. Variety of sauces were really good and the waitress was really nice.

Amazing food, good atmosphere would definitely recommend going! Will be a returning customer and the milkshake is a must! Kids menu could have more variety but kids still enjoyed it all the same.

For American style BBQ the food was excellent. Think Man vs Food, you won't be disappointed. Good portions and very tasty sides not to mention some midweek offers such as unlimited wings £9.95pp

Food was good overall, meat was gorgeous but bread for the bun was stale and mostly left. Staff were nice and prices were decent, nice bbq but could benefit from better draft beer choice.

Excellent food - mains and sides were both very very tasty. Good selection of craft beers and lager in bottles too. Small selection on draught. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great food and massive portiins...spoilt for choice with the menu and also with the 2 extra side dishes you can choose have only ever had the main course! Bizarrw place when you walk in and kitchen roll on your tables to help yourselves for your napkins!! 😍👌👍

Nice wee place, easy to walk past. Had a voucher for pretty much 50% off. Chicken platter was good, wife had pulled pork which was stone cold. Staff did offer to get new portion or new dish, but judging by the dried up sauce it was bunged in the micro with a little extra on top. Kids set menu very good value at £5. Not sure I'd go back.

The waitress we had was very pleasant and attentive, but we have to admit, we really didn’t feel the food was particularly good. We won’t be rushing back sadly- we were so looking forward to our meal, but we unfortunately left underwhelmed.

Staff brilliant and very helpful. Food amazing and excellent atmosphere. Couldn’t fault it really. Good value for money too so good all round really. Great!!

Mains were delicious, and the meat was very well prepared. Sides weren't as spectacular, but were still nice! Good beer selection, as well as root beer and cream soda. The location has MANY stairs, so it's not exactly accessible. Toilets were also very small which made access a bit of an issue.

Pulled pork was great as always. Hot links were amazing! Service was great even with restaurant being busy. Great place to go with friends. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed our night out here with great food and drink, good service and stylish surroundings. Plus of course a great central location within Edinburgh.

The ideal place to go for a BBQ hit, you're essentially always getting a platter of food, so be sure you can handle an actual platter from the menu, if you order one. Meat just falls off the bones, so great for those who are a bit wary of food on the bone too.

Food went cold soon after being brought to the table. Ladies toilets are really cramped, much better to have 1 cubicle rather than squeezing 2

Pulled pork was really dry as was the brisket, disappointed as the reviews were supposedly good....Table next to us had the same issues and sent it back. Won’t be back.

Good food. Music didn’t really fit the decor. Worth a visit. Potions enormous, worth considering reducing them and cutting prices too. Mac and cheese was excellent

Large portions and delicious food! The beef brisket and ribs were especially lovely! Quick and friendly service! Can't wait to go back again as our first time!
