Bubba Q

My wife and I chose Bubba Q to celebrate her birthday after careful consideration during our 2 night stay in Edinburgh. ...we can honestly say it's been one of the best american barbecue restaurants we've visited so far! The food is delicious. ...best mac and cheese ever!!!.. you must try the boom boom sauce too!.....the waiter gave us the recipe. ....Can't wait to try it at home...lovely personal restaurant ...We'll recommended. ..Steve and janet from stoke on trent. Service wasn’t the best and we were waiting for a while. Both dishes weren’t very nice but I think it was what we chose. Would try it again but something different

Absolute different class....everything we had was excellent.....and very very reasonably priced. HOWEVER, the toilets are basically a joke, sorry guys but it's true, they really need seeing to. Didn't spoil anything though, definitely be back and definitely recommend.... Al.

We booked online for a friday night and I'm glad we did, there's not many tables. The food was amazing! Like proper american bbq joints. It's not cheap, but the portions are huge. Thankfully you can buy take away pots for 10p so you can cart the leftovers home :).

Tables are very close together, and thus noise is loud - not helped by the incredibly loud music being played through the restaurant. Drinks we ordered were honestly undrinkable they were so sour and these were eventually taken away though the first waitress didn’t really seem to care - however after the second waitress removed them we were not charged. Food arrived very quickly which was impressive for a Saturday night however the food was not exactly hot, more luke warm which gave the impression it wasn’t fresh. Disappointing for the price ticket attached to the food.

Very quick service, lovely burgers, all the meat we had very good and sides were generous too.

I almost don't want to write this up because our meal and time spent at Bubba Q was just such a lovely experience and I don't want everyone else knowing that there is such an amazing place to go! Service attentive but not intrusive, food served in a timely manner, very generous portions, hot and delicious. Extremely reasonable cost and offered a doggy box for left overs. The servers went above and beyond what they needed to and this made it a memorable birthday meal for my husband's 50th birthday. The email vouchers are much appreciated also. Thank you very much indeed, Bubba Q! One caution, steep flight of steps to go in.
