Great food. Great place hidden away on the Royal Mile. Went before going to a show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Perfect evening!

The food was fabulous! We had the baby back ribs and the bacon & bird salad. The bbq sauces they have on the table were also perfect! Really friendly waitress as well! This is a hidden gem along the Royal Mile!

My son had eaten here previously and really enjoyed it so we came for his birthday. We were all really disappointed with the food although our waitress was lovely. The food was dry and tasteless and the portions were small (the coleslaw was about a tablespoon in a little metal cup, I would have been horrified if I had paid £4 for it as a side!), very different from our son's previous experience and the pictures outside. Very poor food and the wine was almost undrinkable.

brilliant food comes out in metal trays so you an appreciate the portion size is large!! we were a party of 5 and every one enjoyed it. we had the red wine which was lovely thankful as there is no choice just red or red ! the only reason it did not get full marks are the stairs the restaurant seems to me over 3/4 storeys and a lot of stairs which is limiting for some people. will definitely be going back.

You would easily walk right past it as its just a little door on the main street but well worth a look! Food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was lovely.

Really delicious food and a great selection on the menu. Only complaint is that the table was a bit grubby but this has no reflection on the food or the friendly service we received! :)

This was a great burger place on the High Street. The burgers were fabulous but I found the starters to be a little disappointing. However, that might just have been me as the rest of the party seemed happy enough. My niece, who is vegetarian, liked her bean burger too. The house red was very good as were the craft beers. All in all a result!

I am a regular customer and I always recommend this restaurant but this time they changed their menu slightly and my usual chicken triple feast which is usually amazing, was too spicy for me and i couldn't enjoy it. Hope they change it soon back to the previous one which was excellent!!
