Was there last weekend and hopefully won't be too long before we go back! Was stuck for choice so we had the wings to start and then we shared the platter between two and it was amazing, the portion size was more than enough! The beans and brisket were my favourite! Can't wait to go back

Friendly staff, great décor, super food, large portions, great value. So if American diner style food is your thing I recommend you get yourself along and try out the menu for yourself. The place is small so if you are tempted you should book, as we saw at least 10 people turned away. I had a pulled pork sandwich which is served with fries an slaw.The pulled pork was tasty and juicy the slaw was crisp and not smothered in mayo and the fries were crispy.I also ordered a side of bbq beans which were outstanding.My wife had the brisket with a side of mac & cheese which was equally amazing. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food, massive portions, just simply brilliant. I will definitely be going back. Lots of entertainment on the street outside aswell. You won't get bored that's for sure.

Massive plates of food accompanied by poor service. I ordered sides of fries and onion rings with my burger (which was ok). However, no one made any effort to tell us that portion sizes were inedible. Instead we were left to waste our money and a load of food. Certainly wouldn't go again.

Very nice food, really good value for money. In a Great location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Proportions were massive, struggled to eat it all.

Mixed combo with ribs, pulled pork, sweet potato fries and BBQ pit beans was unreal. Excellent service and good tunes

Ribs were woefully undersauced, the fascia and the subcostal arteries were still attached on the underside which is a sign of poor butchering. Although the dry rub was tasted the rib intercostal meat itself lacked any flavour or impression. Mac and Cheese was also unseasoned and bland. Rather unimpressed really.

Excellent food and service. I will 100% be back! Went for the beef brisket and a couple of sides. Ended up taking a lot of the beef home

The portion sizes are huge and the food tastes so good! Cost £12 for a wing/ribs combo with onion rings and corn, so worth it! This was a starter which I had as my main and struggled to finish it. Staff are friendly and helped me choose a meal as I couldn't decide because everything sounds amazing!

Nice easy well located restaurant, the food was good and the staff were really good especially accommodating a toddler. Although the place was busy the staff took our order promptly and efficiently.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit - the lunchtime menu was excellent; we were a party of 3 and had a wrap, sandwich and a burger and couldn't fault any.

Dynamite!!! Best restaurant ive been to in a long time. Meat just melts in your mouth and the portions are very generous. Very highly recommended.

Atmosphere and food were perfect. We had the Pulled Pork and the Beef Brisket. What we liked very much was that all mains come with 2 sides of your own choice.

This was our fifth visit and must say as good as our very first visit. Absolutely top class, tasty food and excellent sevice every time. If in Edinburgh this is your must go to restaurant!

Great value for money! Chicken was delicious. 100% will be back and highly recommend anyone near the area to pop in, you won't be disappointed.

Food really nice but portions very large (how anyone could contemplate a starter if they knew what was in store would be beyond me). Also service is a little like being in a factory, don't expect a warm welcome or the feeling that you've come out for a liesurely dining experiece. Seems very good for families in particular.

Such good value for money and the BEST meat in Edinburgh! Way better than Hard Rock. Can't wait to go back. We couldn't believe the portion sizes for what we paid. Amazing. Only thing was we booked a table in advance then got sat at a table right next to a family with a small child who was playing music really loudly on their mums phone. But the rest of the tables were empty.

Return visit,brought a friend along for her first visit. After telling her all about it,lived up to her expectations & wee all enjoyed our meal,after all having starters,we couldn't finish our main meals but if you ask staff will happily give you take away boxes,which means you can get to continue to enjoy the great meal at home. great atmosphere,welcoming staff & tasty food.

The platter is the best, little bit of everything but save room for the wings, just awesome, so tender and tasty. Great price, great portions and most importantly great flavour.

Very good place to eat wasn't busy even with the Fringe going on just outside. Nice and cool inside and staff are very friendly. Food was excellent burgers and dynamite fries are something else only downside food was slightly cold due to being positioned next to the window. Overall this is a very much recommended place to eat if your in the area.
