excellent meal, all 3 diners enjoyed a repast of brisket (2) pulled pork (1), and delicious sides......speedy service, friendly staff....third visit, always excellent, we'll be back soon!!!!

Lunch menu is awesome value. £7.50 for the spicy pig (pulled pork and chorizo) sandwich and sweet potato fries 😍

My second time going there and this time brought a friend who hadn't been before. Tried something different to what i had last time and wasnt disappointed. Looking forward to it again.

Food was very good however they did get the order wrong hence taking a couple of marks off. Service that aside was pretty good would recommend!

Best BBQ in town, quick service. I'd recommend the Pit Master Platter, we had two between the three of us and there was more than enough.

Great service and tasty authentic BBQ food. The brisket and skin on fries were particularly delicious. Enormous portions! Would like to see more selection of desserts.

Great food lots of choice on menu this restaurant is a little gem on the busy royal mile in Edingburgh, Been here twice and will definitely be going back again, staff are friendly and the decor is really cool

Excellent BBQ, have to try all the different meats. I have been back several times since this visit, consistently brilliant, beer is decent as well.

Staff very helpful . Good atmosphere . Had to send meal back as the pulled pork was very dry , it had been kept warm. Changed very willingly. Meal good value , quantities too much though .

Bubba q is the best american style food i have tasted. Rustic setting with rustic details throughout the small restaurant but HUGE on taste! Never tasted such beautifuly cooked burgers, chicken, pulled pork and macaroni. The problem is leaving any room for pudding. 😁

The food in this place is something else, truly delicious. Service from staff also excellent. Book a table to avoid disappointment as it's very busy

Service by attentive and friendly staff was excellent. Nice selection of beers although would have preferred on tap Blue Moon. As for the food had ribs and chicken wings to start both covered in delicious sauce the chicken wings were probably the best I have ever tasted. Followed by the black and bleu burger, a delicious combination of Cajun spices and strong blue cheese. Tastes a lot better than it sounds. Finished off with a decent but not great sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommended.

Good food and generous portions. We will definitely be back. The half Cajun chicken was juicy and succulent and the Cajun fries are a must.

Great food and value for money. The service was good too with attentive staff. Seats were really uncomfortable hence the slightly lower score. Def go back.

Good food but drinks were not chilled. Were sat a table in the middle of the small restaurant which I would recommend trying to avoid as everyone is walking around you

You'll never go hungry at BBQ. However the ribs are plentiful but flavourless, dry and overcooked. The beans are excellent as was the brisket. Drinks overpriced.

Absolutely amazing bbq style food. We shared the platter and everything was so so so tasty. I had a sticky toffee pudding milkshake and it was delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Fab food, portions are very generous. I loved the music too. Will definitely be back. The only negative thing is the toilet cubicles are so small they are nearly impossible to get in!

Staff great, food nice and good drinks selection. If you like meat this is the place for you. No room to swing a cat in toilets and kept getting splinters in my hands from the tables :(

Loved everything about our first visit.Quirky decor,lovely, attentive ,knowledgable ,waitresses.Food was perfectly cooked and presented,my mate Phil had the Brisket and I had the pulled pork which was so tender,it just fell apart.Drink prices are what you would expect on the high street, and the selection of beers and ciders was fine.Would I go back,you betcha,would I recommend it to friends ,absolutely :)

The service and food here were excellent. We were unhappy with our choice of beer and there was no hesitation in changing them by the staff. The prices, considering the location, are pretty good. I will return.

Bubba Q is a fantastic BBQ restaurant in Edinburgh. This place has a lovely cosy atmosphere, with friendly staff and an amazing range of food including burgers, platters and hot dogs. I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday evening around half 6. Even though the restaurant was quick busy, we were waited on promptly and recieved amazing service and food throughout our visit. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys BBQ food and brilliant value for money!
