Nice food good atmosphere enjoyed my time there with my partner
Very tasty food, i really enjoyed the drinks too! Nice
Mmm the food is the best ive ever had wow so tasty
Waited too long to get first drink from waitress , pretty slow performance from all staff considering only ten people in restaurant .table next to me waited two hours and then food came cold so left and they where residents. Very poor
The restaurant would have been nice if the had more than one waiter on the whole floor. I had to wait for a while to make a request so I felt he was strained so he wasn't capable of giving his best.
We ate early and unsurprisingly, we were the only people in the restaurant for the first hour or so but this did not spoil our experience and we very much enjoyed the food. The restaurant itself was very cold and we mentioned this to the member of staff who served us. However, it did not get any warmer.
First time diners , at this restaurant but well versed in the Manchester eating scene and found it very good indeed
On arrival the Brasserie Abode is very stylish and we were welcomed immediately. The staff were friendly and helpful with a sense of humour which always helps. The problems we had were with the menu. The website advertised Breakfast was served until 3pm, our table was booked for 12 lunchtime. When we received the table menu the Breakfast menu was advertised at ending at 11am. When we asked the waiter he new nothing about it but took a snapshot of my phone to show the manager. My partner then ordered the Plat du Jour for Wednesday to be told this was not ready and would mean a wait of a further 30 minutes at least. When our food arrived it was of good quality so cannot fault that but I do feel that for a hotel of this reputation websites and menus should be correct. The website still states Breakfast until 3pm. We weren't the only client who queried the Breakfast serving times as a further couple also asked the same question.
The food and service was excellent. Mikey and Rob, our servers were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend
Server didn’t bother to approach the table for a solid 15 minutes despite the fact the restaurant was almost empty. She was too busy chatting up the bartender. I walked out and dined at a great better place.
Great venue for lunch, dinner or drinks. Wide ranging food menu for mains or light bits.
Good, tasty food in a buzzy setting. Decent choice of wine by bottle and glass. Friendly, attentive service. Nice place.
Extortionate prices, very small portions. Six pieces of tortellini for a main course!, distinct lack of savouries on the Afternoon tea. A member of a party had a prawn sandwich, again very expensive for very few prawns, another had Chicken Kiev with mashed potatoes which was about a small spoonful. It would be more beneficial to improve the portions for the prices being charged. On a more positive note we could not fault the waiter who was extremely attentative and very helpful and went that extra mile to make our lunch service enjoyable. But alas, the food let the Abode down.
The place is nice, good services and delicious foods. The breakfasts and soup are very yummy. The place is so quite to enjoy the good foods.
