Delicious food and great service. Staff were friendly and attentive

Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food. Scallops are always delicious. Been here a few times now and look forward to going back. A firm favourite.

Great restaurant,great food, great staff. Always an enjoyable evening here, I would usually give top marks, can’t fault the place, last night the restaurant was full and needed more staff, the staff working were rushed off their feet so service was slightly slower than usual but staff still tried to be as attentive as always. As always I highly recommend Borello and will be back soon.

Amazing food and great service. Waiters were friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We all had a great time and enjoyed our evening.

Excellent food & service, good value for money, but very poor choice of wine. The house red was fine but the house white was dreadful

Excellent food as always. Fillet steaks are to die for, Service could have been a bit better. Never asked if we wanted a desert until we asked for the bill around 30 minutes after the main course had been cleared. Missing a trick there.

Though the food was plain it was well cooked and presented. The staff were polite and efficient. Overall the experience and the food was extremely good.

First visit here with my wife, daughter and grandson. 3 adults opted for 2 course early dining menu and grandson had a pizza. The staff were very welcoming in the very pleasant restaurant and happy to make minor changes to menu e.g to offer penne instead of spaghetti. The most important thing of course was the food which was nicely presented and very very tasty. If we are in the area again we would definitely visit again.

A warm atmosphere. Excellent choice of dishes on the early bird menu. Delicious food and great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

wonderful food and staff, we go a lot but they made my sons 21st very special, recommend the lobster raviolli and the pizzas are genuine Italian, thank you.

Great food, large portions, friendly staff. We went for early door menu, excellent value. Had chicken Caesar salad for starters, almost size of main course. Loved the chicken served warm.

Great food and great service as always. The Early Bird menu is fantastic value especially for kids. The kids pizza is the same size as an adults I think.

Excellent food, the Best restaurant in South Manchester all seven friends said we would go back there again. A special night, with a special meal, for special friends.

A lovely evening had by 4 of us, friendly service, main courses were good but the mixed seafood starter was the highlight. We'll be back.

Exceptional restaurant. Food very fresh and delicious. Staff very accommodating and helpful and unlike some restaurants you felt under no pressure to rush and leave the restaurant. An excellent evening.

Fantastic food, very busy even on a Monday evening! It took a bit of time between courses but I think that is because we are just used to being quite rushed in most restaurants and this was the more traditional way of enjoying a meal. Would definitely go again.

Service was fantastic. Food was delicious - monkfish special in particular. Staff all lovely. Food was brought out a relaxing pace. No rush in between courses. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Lovely food at a reasonable price. Service was a bit variable. We had to wait a long time for water and one waiter brought the wrong starter, but it was quickly rectified.

Fab food and lovely, friendly atmosphere. You can always tell how good a place is by the number of tables full on a Friday - and it was full. But we could still hear each other speak! Lovely evening.

Great food and excellent service in a prime location in the centre of Sale. This was my second visit and in my opinion the food is as good as any Italian restaurant I've come across in the UK.

Food was very good but the service was a bit slow. The restaurant was full and the staff were very accommodating when we had an extra guest who hadn't been booked in initially.

Had a reservation for 7pm but had a call from the restaurant at 6.30 saying the table would be late. Very considerate. Welcome was warm, the waitress was friendly and the food was excellent. We would go again, and invite the family.

We booked a table for seven on Bank Holiday Monday. We all agreed that this was the best meal we had for a long time. At about 8 pm we were the only clients left in the restaurant. The service was impeccable - it was a great night out.

Fantastic food and service, even when the restaurant was full with a large birthday party in the corner the staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you.

The restaurant has a nice ambience, excellent service, and the food is beautifully presented. However, my pasta had far too much chili so I was unable to finish my meal.

Absolutely fabulous. I brought my sister and her husband who are real foodies. They were amazed at the beautiful food and the service and ambience at this restaurant. He declared it to be one of the finest meals he's ever had. I will certainly go again and am already recommending people to go there.

Went in for the early bird menu. Superb choice and great tasting food. Cooked to a high standard, served hot and all three meals served together. Great attention to detail and will definitely be returning. A real gem!

Bustling atmosphere, very friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. Ideal choice as we had tickets for a concert across the road at the waterside art centre.

Great food and great service as always. Bit of a mix up with the coking on two fillet steaks, nut quickly sorted by manager and kitchen.

Very good food and excellent service. The only negative comment I could make was the dreadful noise from the shrieking children sitting nearby. I would certainly go again though.

Food here is fabulous. Very attentive service by staff. Relaxed atmosphere. If you like fish this is your ideal place as its best i have ever had. Recommend sea bass, mussels, monk fish. Wine is good and price average. Pasta is top quality and the steaks ! Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Go now !

Great food and atmosphere. Menu lacks a bit of imagination but top quality stuff! Would go back in an instant. Think it has some links to linguine in sale too but not 100%.

Authentic Italian experience - all staff friendly and attentive. Our garlic bread was undercooked but we still ate it ! Mussel starter was very pleasant and we'll seasoned and the grilled seabass was expertly presented at our table. A very pleasant meal on a busy Saturday night in the restaraunt.
