Really lovely place, food was really good, there is a good selection on the menu and the service was great. Would go again for sure. Good value for money also.
Great Indian food, but staff seemed to be uninterested in their guests when taking food orders, my wateŕ was poured from the bottle in someone else's used glass, Indian music at entrance was played too loud, and decor is a bit dated. Still, for the food alone I'd go back again.
My family and I love the food, the portion of dishes are perfect especially they do small/ large for some dishes, and the service was good too!! Will definitely recommend to friends and go again.
Great food, great staff and Service we had really nice relaxed meal and would recommend and would go back again if in the area, our kids of 13 & 10 both enjoy an Indian and both were impressed
Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. As a group of five who have enjoyed eating Indian good for many years in various restaurants across London, we all agreed that we'd not had better. Will definitely be returning to this superb restaurant.
Like usual we got a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious dinner with the family. This time we had two young children with us and got professional advice on the menu. Again we got excellent value for money and are certainly going to recommend the Bengal Clipper to our family and friends.
Excellent food, great service and a special thank you to Asaad for playing me the Anamika song. We will definitely come back when in London!
Service was friendly and quick and pricing was reasonable. Although there was a mistake on the bill. In a lovely location and overall a good experience.
The environment was nice, the food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming. I have been to lots of places for Indian food but Bengal Clipper is one of a kind. I'd recommend this place.
The service staff was very attentive and set a comfortable atmosphere. The food was excellent and our waiter made good suggestions for our meal. We enjoyed ourselves.
This is the third time we have been to the Bengal Clipper. Every time we have had a very satisfying experience. Great authentic food, excellent service. We will definitely come back!
Great Food.Great Service. Been coming to the Bengal Clipper for years. Even if you’re a dedicated meat eater - do try the veggies - you will not be disappointed. I have no hesitation in recommending Bengal Clipper.
Food very good and good size portions. Got order wrong for papodoms at beginning Service a bit slow especially waiting for starters. Overall very satisfied
Had a lovely meal. The waiting staff were very friendly (much improved from a few years ago). The food was great and decent sized portions. The restaurant was a bit on the cool side though. Turn the heating up just a fraction!
Great food, and great service - we have eaten at the Bengal Clipper before but the service and food has improved and we will be back again very soon. Thank-you!
Excellent food and service. Would strongly recommend. We had a great evening. Staff were very welcoming and attentive and combined with superb food made the night. Well done Bengal Clipper
Lovely restaurant inside and out. Service could not have been better. Great range of currys to suit every taste and great price too! There was 6 f us for a lunch time work meal and we all enjoyed it. We went just as they opened and were the only ones in there so was very quiet!
Good food and decent waiting times between each course considering the large group size. Good value for money and would certainly recommend to friends and family.
Easy to book online. All of the party stated that it was one of the best best curry houses that they had every enjoyed. Well rated resturant. My second visit. Did not disappoint. Slightly more expensive but being such a good place to eat / drink was well worth the additional cost.
excellent food and the staff were extremely helpful! we will definitely be back here again. I would recommend the chicken tikka biriyani with madras sauce!
The food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. We have been before and will definitely go again. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
from a fellow chef I never normally write reviews but I don't think the staff at Bengal Clipper care anyway. The front of house staff had no care in service and looked like they didn't want to be there. From the moment go the staff was very brash and when we needed something we hesitated to ask as we felt it would be an issue for the staff. When we got our food. Firstly the portion size was overwhelming and secondly from my eye it looked pre cooked. Overall I am very disappointed and saddened as I have been before and had a very nice evening. Hopefully you pick up the service as I have been previously and had a really nice evening. After this evening I will not be in a hurry to book again.
Buffet was sufficiently stocked with the basics but we had an issue with the vintage of wine ordered. Menu stated 2014 yet we were served a 2015. This only became apparent when almost drank. Staff apologized but did nothing.
Great service. Cool location. Food very good. Better at the weekend than mid week. waiters attentive but not intrusive. Live piano music adds a particular ambience.
the restaurant was nice, the service was lovely (with even live piano) and the food was great, I think I had the best curry ever
Food is delicious ( the king prawn masala and rogan josh were particularly good)and the service attentive. Menu has a some unusual dishes and the restaurant is nice and spacious.
Favourite Indian cusine this side of Tower Bridge London and returning again and again. Food and service was excellent and my international visitors were also delighted with the food.
Inattentive staff periodically- literally caused me to chase staff to get a drink for a colleague. Entertaining stories for empty liquor cabinet. Food good though.
Awesome dinner for 20 people, would definitely recommend Bengal Clipper - there is plenty of room for large groups without making the restaurant feel too busy
