First time here. We arrived a little early and the place was full. The initial contact with the staff was a little strained as we were early but after a short wait we were seated with an apology for any misunderstanding. The food was superb with many dishes not available in other local Indian restaurants. The portion sizes are generous and the bill very reasonable for the quality.

A little noisy, but then you'll get that with popular restaurants. Excellent food, excellent service. Reasonably priced too. We have had take aways from Bengal Brasserie but this was our first time as "sit in " diners. It wont be our last.

Great location and lovely atmosphere. Our waiter was an absolute delight, charming, knowledgeable and helpfu. The food was just as good. Great mixed starter and Sag Aloo to die for. Really good Naan bread too. One of the nicest restaurants we have visited and food to match the best. We are planning our next visit.

We did enjoy it there however I feel there are some teething problems, we ordered coffee two came one didn't the further one came ten minutes later at this point we had the opportunity to ask for sugar and a spoon and by that time mine and my step mothers coffees were cold, in addition to that it was a cold night and the doors were left open, towards the end of the night we were sat freezing. Also I asked for a large white wine and soda which was given to me in a pint glass not nice. I always like wine in a wine glass. The food was however amazing can't fault it and the staff very friendly but no one seemed to be overall in charge, I think that's is what is needed.

We love his restaurant. We have come for years and have grown really fond of the staff. The food is always great. Last night we had chicken jalfrezi - fresh, spicy, not too fatty...yum! And a lamb mossala which was deliciously flavoursome. We highly recommend Bengal Brasserie and wish they luck with the new venture in town near the Arena :-)

Lovely food, just one negative, only two of us so im guesesing we had the smallest table which is fine. However when they brought our mains out after popodoms they left our little starter plates on the table, no room. When we asked for more drinks and they delivered them, they left our empty glasses on our little table so we were still struggling for room. And yes we tried to unload some of the baggage in out table, but the staff were to busy to see what was going on around them.
