Great food lovely atmosphere friendly people plan to go again

One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Not the cheapest but well worth the extra few quid.

We had a wonderful home cooked meal. It was a very welcoming place, a bit quirky. The service was spot on. I'd go back.

We have been a few times over the years was not happy with the 22£ service charge there was 6 of us bill was big to start with

I always book a restaurant /pub if it has gluten free. So when we went last night I was really surprised at just how much food there was, with 7 being veg.it was cooked just right I aslo had the lamb shank the meat fell off the bone it was lovely and tender. Keith had the pie he said was very good we shared the veg. There was a good choice of puddings but we didn't have any room. I really recommend this place. You will not be disappointed

Good venue for our old friends lunch. Great lunch, we loved the pasta, festive pie, and sea bass. Followed by Apple pie. Room to sit afterwards to talk.

We were a party of 6. We had a beautiful table in an alcove and it was dressed for Christmas. The service and food were excellent. I can recommend this lovely restaurant without hesitation. We will definitely be back in 2020 in larger numbers!

Wanted somewhere to serve food at 5pm before going to theater. Homemade pies very different from others I have tasted and were all the better for it. Definitely go again, staff very friendly and appropriately attentive.

Lovely sweet room with so much attention to detail and provision of goodies in the rooms. Try the pies!! They are amazing and soooo full of filling with melt in the mouth pastry that you barely notice when you’re eating it! Highly recommend this sweet little pub!

Don't be put off by the slightly run-down exterior on a busy main road. Once you get inside, the food is excellent, there is a wide range of choices, and the service was polite and attentive.

Meeting a friend for afternoon tea. Well presented and there were left overs. Service was excellent.

We had a meal here on Sunday. A friendly relaxed atmosphere with a varied menu catering to all including vegetarian and vegan. The food was excellent and value for money. I’ll definitely be recommending it to all my friends. If you need a room there are 10 and there is a car park

Cosy venue and attentive staff. Went for a birthday meal with a friend - just right for a party of two! Food was well presented and very tasty. Would go back again!
