Restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime (albeit in half term) which is probably a good indication of how much people like it. Our first visit and I was impressed with every aspect from quality of food and vfm to the exceptional service. Only small query I have is why the Adana Kebab served with rice & salad is advertised as gluten free when the rice has to be taken off as it’s NOT gluten free?

I have been to Aspera many Times and love the Food, Service and Atmosphere. Highly Recommend

Great service, staff are friendly but professional. Food was lovely. I had the Dover Sole and the waiter did a brilliant job taking it off the bone. My partner had the Monkfish which she loved and my daughter had a lamb shish.

My wife's vegetable masaka was obviously cooked from Frozen or fridge cold and not fresh. Had peas in it which we have not seen in a vegetable masaka before. Other than her dish, everyone else is on the table was good.

A good atmosphere, great service and plenty of delicious food.

Started were good but we ordered a mixed grill main that was very overcooked and also meats listed on the menu as being included were missing. We also ordered the king prawn main and substituted the sautéed potatoes for chips - The meal arrived with 7 small cold chips on it that clearly were not cooked with the rest of the food - we asked for more chips and were charged for another portion - there was no comparison between the portion served originally with the food and the 2nd portion given. The strawberry on the cheesecake was past it’s best - bruised and mushy …. Overall very disappointing!!!

We used to eat out a lot, all different types of restaurants but have over the last year stopped, because we constantly left a restaurant feeling either the food was not of a good standard, or the service was under par Well, Aspera have changed our lives! From the moment we were greeted at the door by a lovely lady and shown to our table. Fantastic and very refreshing. This was quickly followed by our waiter "Ali” What a star! Nothing was too much trouble for Ali, he was, along with other members of staff that served us top notch, he was present should we want anything but not imposing, just how it should be. Food. Wow. Great menu choice, the only thing I would change is the print on black, it was a little hard to read in the ambient light ..... but I’m an oldie so it might just be an age thing. We all had different meals, and each plate came up spot on. Very generous quantities along with quality, hot food which was very well presented and tasty. We couldn’t finish our food so had takeaway bags which, on their own are a work of art and again classy. So, to summarise, we now have a go to restaurant that we will use and recommend. Well done to the management and staff who work so well together. We have a couple of business and would employ anyone of the staff here in a heartbeat. So spread the word, "Aspera" is a must visit place. All the best Charlie & Ana x We ate and drank well ... but perhaps not wisely :)

Great Service and Food. Have not been for a few Years, and pleasantly surprised that the same high standards Have been maintained.

Our son has recently been diagnosed with celiac disease , so deciding to eat out we thought would be a minefield. We had a fantastic experience here today and they looked after our son perfectly . Lots of choice for him . One of our favourite places to eat never let us down .

Went here for lunch with a friend for a Christmas catch up and was amazing as always food was fantastic and the service wonderful. Will definitely go again. Thank you
