Loved our dinner at Ash! Always delicious! Thanks for taking such good care of us!

The portions are generous but overpriced for what you get. I got arrabbiata pasta with no chilli in it. Service is not great. I asked to swap the fried mushrooms and garlic bread in my pasta for a green salad but was told it was not possible, which is quite ridiculous. I ordered a cocktail which unfortunately got accidentally spilt by the staff before I had a chance to try. They could not make the same drink again as they had run out if an ingredient. I had to order something different and there was no effort to offer a complimentary one to make up for the inconvenience. I would not go back again, this place is over rated for what you get.

We’ve been travelling now for 3 weeks and it was nice to have something that tasted home cooked and with a fresh salad.

The food was very nice, but it seems both staff served us were on training.

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan options! One of the only places in Inverness to offer such a vast selection! Food was very delicious, great portions and wait/ bar staff were very accommodating.

Felt rushed to order all our courses. Was looking forward to a chicken pie instead got chicken in a wine sauce with puff pastry put on top of it, this is not a pie and tastes nothing like a pie. After our sweet we given our bill without asking for it ,we felt we were being rushed out of the door. This was not a relaxing meal.

Food & Service were not up to expectations. Servers seemed to be working many tables.

The food was of good quality and the setting pleasant. Having completed the NC500 where we found friendly hospitality in almost all settings, we felt the welcome at Ash to be luke warm at best! This was the only establishment unable to split a bill equally between two couples for payment. We would not return.

The waiting staff are very junior and need training and adequate direction and supervision. The seniors in the restaurant provide none of that.

We dined out here for our anniversary. Food was nice and we were served promptly.no waiting in between courses for food

Welcoming, friendly staff with lovely food and wine and atmosphere

Our waiter was fantastic, actually listening to the fact that one of us was gluten free and dairy free, made little amendments to suit, he also had a great sense of humour. All four us enjoyed our meals, there is a great selection of Vegetarian/Vegan options (separate menu). Good meal sizes.

Friendly staff good service food was well presented but nothing special

The information on this application was very misleading. The restaurant has changed it menu and according to the waitress they haven’t had that menu for a long time. The food was very average at best. It took 30 minutes to get our bill after we had asked for it twice.

Lovely meal but a little over priced for what you get on your plate

Although we enjoyed the food, the pigeon was a little overcooked and tough. The menu is large and varied with a good choice of meats and fish. Portion sizes were just a wee bit too big for us but since we are over 60 we found the over 60s offer to be good value for money. Overall the service was efficient and the staff were quite friendly and easily answered any questions put to them. The restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was pleasant and we could easily talk to each other and not being too aware of other diners conversations. A return visit is probable and we would recommend the Ash to friends and family

Tempted in by the cocktails and sharing platter for 4. Excellent value . Definitely one to try, we will be back.
