More about the restaurant: Artisan
Artisan Manchester is a seriously cool spot set in a huge 12,000 square foot industrial space on the first floor of The Avenue North on Bridge Street in Spinningfields. Artisan is a buzzing space where there’s always something going on and there’s always something delicious being cooked up. We’re talking international casual dining complete with flatbreads, meat, fish and salads served up alongside a whole host of hand-picked craft beers, wines and spirits served at the 20-foot bar. So, when will you be hitting up this impressive spot for a night to remember? Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

One of the first things that will strike you about Artisan Manchester is the incredible space within which it sits. This bright and airy atrium is part concrete warehouse, part artist’s loft with paintings, sculptures, murals, art installations and more, adorning the walls made by local and international contemporary artists. Situated on Bridge Street right in the heart of Spinningfields means that Artisan comes alive at night time, with events, parties, music and drinks happening well into the wee hours. Spread across multiple spaces you will find private dining options for special occasions, no matter if you fancy al fresco dining in the Drawing Room or a cosier vibe in the Studio and the Gallery.
But enough about spaces, let’s talk about our favourite thing: food! The menu offering at Artisan Spinningfields is wide and varied, offering many different kinds of international dishes – with a mean Sunday roast on the weekends. No drinks are complete without nibbles, so we love picking at some olives and wood-fired garlic bread while perusing the menu. Then, it’s time for some starters in the form of prosciutto and watermelon salad; baked camembert with bacon crumbs and crisp flatbreads and prawns with roasted garlic and coriander. Then, for the main event? Well you simply have to try the salt and pepper St. Louis belly pork ribs with Asian slaw and kimchi ketchup. Oh, we’re very hungry all of a sudden!
