Another excellent meal with excellent service. This was our 4th visit and we will definitely be going back again. Restaurant is open from 12 noon - we went on a Wednesday afternoon and were the only customers - a time that suited our plans for the day and when other restaurants would be closed.

Food was excellent, tasty, just right portions, value for money and will definitely be visiting again

Unfortunately food was tasteless . Service was good but all four of us thought the same . Second time we been first time was the same but gave it an other go will not be returning .

This was my second visit to Aromate in the space of a fortnight - which says it all, really. The food is clearly a cut above any other local Indian restaurants and the service is exceptional. I will certainly be visiting again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Aromate to anyone.

We turned up at 8 for our booking. We had to ask at half 8 if we could order our food by 9 o’clock we didn’t have the pappadums so asked where they was. 2 minutes after the pappadums turned up they brought out the starters. We got the mains at 9:40. The restaurant wasn’t very busy so don’t understand why the service was so slow but the food was excellent

Very friendly welcome and greeting. Shown to table and ordered drinks and popadoms. Prompt service. Meals ordered and any requests dealt with quickly. Did not feel rushed at any time. Discount on some evenings is an excellent offer. A different menu to majority of restaurants. Returning again this week.

Menu choice could be a slight bit larger, although I understand why restaurants keep it limited. The large screen (although didn't bother me too much from where I was sat) was a worry. I don't like that when I'm in a restaurant.

Food is as always amazing. This was our third time and we all enjoyed it. We had waiter called Bharat and he is amazing person he looked after as really well. All staff was very friendly.😊

Great atmosphere and excellent service, which really stood out to us. The food was tasty, especially starters, and good portion sizes.

The food was once again incredible and full of flavour. The restaurant has made a few little improvements with dimming the lights, individual table lamps, tv screens switched off giving the restaurant a much more relaxed ambience. The service and food is 5 star.

We were very disappointed. The prices of our meals were high so we expected a better experience than the one we had. The chicken korma and lamb kormas were not what we were anticipating. They were too hot - chilli hot! - and had no coconut cream/milk or cashew nut puree anywhere near them! The chicken tasted reconstituted. Perhaps this was because it was halal but it wasn’t succulent chicken breast. It tasted like inferior quality chicken. There was a swirl of cream on top me a dollop of butter. Why…? This isn’t necessary and added a greasy element to the dish. We were shocked to find a 12.5% discretionary service charge added to our bill. The menu stated that the rice was either basmati rice with vegetables in it, or steamed rice. I ordered basmati but both the rice bowls served wrrr ordinary steamed rice. The “chutneys” served with our poppadoms were not chutneys but a mango purée - mint purée and chilli purée. They were disappointing too. Button doesn’t really need yet another Indian restaurant. If this one was to make its mark on the town then it would have to be very special to compete with its competitors. Unfortunately it failed dismally and we will not be returning. I actually felt sick in the way home! We prefer the Ghurka in Burton or the Jaipur in Repton so will stick to our favourites in future.

The food was excellent the lamb in my korma was so tender this is my 2nd visit to Aromate in just over a month both times excellent service and fabulous food and drinks would highly recommend and will be booking in again soon xx

Food was high quality, great taste staff where efficient and friendly, really enjoyed the whole experience.

Tonight was our 4th visit to the restaurant in as many weeks. The food is absolutely beautiful and this is the main reason we keep returning each week. However, the service is also fantastic and the staff make you feel very special. The lamb kadai is amazing. We will be back very soon.

It was a nice atmosphere, very different to the club it once was! Staff were so polite and professional. Food was nice but felt it was quite expensive compared to other places for what you got. Overall a positive experience however one thing to note was the 12.5% service charge for every table regardless of how many people. We found this to be a bit unfair as a lot of restaurants only do this for groups.
