If anything the food was rather too generous in quantity ! Would have liked to be given more bread - it used to be large round breads rather than the thin pieces we had yesterday

Very delicious food and polite staff. Haider who is running the restaurant was very professional and friendly to all of the customers around including our table. I would definitely go back again.

The lamb was amazing but the service wasn’t as so great also there was so much Halloween decorations it just didn’t seem traditional place to eat

Server was extremely rude. Food was lukewarm and they seated us right by the door where other customers were chain smoking. Made for a very unpleasant experience.

The food was as always really good overall- we had the mixed grill with rice as the main- the meat was juicy & tender, the saffran rice was cooked very well. We also had a selection of starters which my guests loved- but as a Persian myself I have to say that 2 out of the 5 (salad Shirazi & Salad Olivieh) we had were a little bland tastewise. But the freshly baked bread makes up for that. The 2 different Iranian desserts we had however went down very well (Iranian sorbet & icecream). The service was friendly, nice music in the background which also my non Persian guests enjoyed a lot. We will definitely return.

The food was mediocre to say the least; as it is mostly lamb based dishes there was not much infomration on the differences between the menu items when two items appeared identical - no explantions of whether they were spiced differently etc. My friends all had lamb dishes and the quality of the lamb ranged from dry to nice; I had a chicken biryani and although the taste was there the chicken pieces are dry and well over cooked. The waitress also seemed to want to clear our table before we had finished eating the food and managed to take a drink my friend had not finfished; they did give a free glass of wine but it would have been better is they had replaced it the prosecco she was actually drinking. My main complaint is that the music was loud, very loud and at some points we couldnt even speak to each other... there were only a few tables being used and therefore no background noise so it was really full on! I would not return

Apadana has a beautiful interior & an authentic exterior. The food is fantastic (as if you're in a restaurant in Tehran). The service is polite, friendly and helpful. The food is reasonably priced for what they have to offer. It always provided a family atmosphere. We've been going there for nearly 20 years. We're sure to be going there again.

We were a party of four and two of us are non meat eaters which can often pose an issue. We all very much enjoyed our starters, the bread being particularly delicious. The aubergine dishes were also very nice. Unfortunately there was only one main course suitable to the non meat eaters which was fish - again it was nice but it would have been good to have had more choice on the main menu. We were all reasonably satisfied but I guess we didn't come away talking of our next visit!

Pretty good. Friendly service, nice interior, and good recomendations on dishes and portion size to share for 2. Not a huge beer selection but it not really why we went so thats fine. Flat bread made and topped up as we ate! Interesting abstract music selection of upbeat remixed Iranian sounds.

WOW, the most Amazing Restaurant, the Food is Fantastic, the Grilled meat was cooked to perfection, all Juicy and succulent, The Saffron Rice was Aromatic and they use real Saffron. The Naan bread was baked in front of us in a visual Tandoor inside the restaurant so you can see it made, all fresh, hot and crispy. the Ambiance is very nice, its very authentic yet modern and classy. the Service was really good, and the staff are so helpful and Friendly. we Loved this place and definitely we are coming back for more.

My lamb stew dish was quite nice, a huge portion and a huge portion a rice too so very good value. My girlfriends fish did not taste fresh so was not nice. Great service and a nice touch as they cook the bread then and there in the middle of the restaurant

The pictures of the restaurant and especially the food on the website are grossly misleading. Extremely poor food for the price charged. We basically received a bland grilled piece of lamb with plain boiled rice and a tomato!! The description on the menu was nothing like the dish. We also arrived with Gourmet Society vouchers (could call ahead to confirm as no one picked the telephone) that were not honoured by the restaurant. They also then added the "optional" service charge without it being an option! Overall a very poor experience and complete waste of time and money. We would have been better off going to a local kebab van instead.

The restaurant is actually quite nice but the staff were not really attentive. They kind of seemed to be busy with themselves, they did not explain the dishes or ask if the food was good. We had bread, Hummus and a Yoghurt dip with Mint and Cucumber as a starter, which was very nice. The main course was brought more or less directly after the starters. We tried assorted stews, which were very tasty but unfortunately only lukewarm.

Lovely welcome and as we were seated the entertainer or musician was playing a very loud piece. The food was tasty however I found it very expensive. Juices for £5, a bit steep for what it was. Overall ok!

Myself and 2 non-Iranians liked the food and the prices were reasonable. The coffee and complimentary Baklava were really nice but Bastani was too sweet with the wrong texture. The interior is a bit small as with many boutique restaurants. Overall good value and a good experience.

I'm Italian but have lived in Iran, so I know the authentic cuisine. The food was amazing, I brought my brother here for the first time on a Sunday for lunch and he said this is the best foreign food he's ever had. We ate hummus and khiar as starters, then we shared joojeh&koobideh and fesenjan. As desserts we had bastani and baklava and as drinks Persian tea and doogh. Everything absolutely delicious and perfect! Kind staff. Great location. Not overcrowded. Bread cooked in the traditional way next to us. Surrounded by waiters talking in Persian (obviously they speak English too) and Persian music. Not the cheapest in London but the most various menu and best quality. Worthy experience!

The atmosphere was not so cosy and we expecded a more "oriental" touch. Food was ok but unfortunately they only have no variety of wines, they've got their house wine only, which was ok, but not not more.

The experience was not pleasant!!! The cooker kept noking with his shose on the floor causing noise !!! We order mix starters that have five different dishes, we didn't like it and famous keshek badenjan was not good at all. The main course was ok we order beef kobedah and spicy kobedah with rich, this was good. The owner offer us tea at the end. We couldn't pay with credit card as they have a problem with their machine. Overall 3 is for the main course.

The food was excellent. I had the Koubideh and my wife had the Joujeh Kebab. The service was friendly but very casual. The plates from our bread and cheese were stacked and then left on the table While we ate the main course. We will certainly return to enjoy the authentic Persian food. Lovely.
