Go for the perfumed chicken for a starter, trust me you won’t regret it 🙂

Food was very good but service was very slow and we had to remind the staff we were still waiting for food.

Lovely food just a different twist on Asian cuisine great service but it was very noisy ,not staff fault will deffo go again but midweek n see if it's quieter

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Will definitely come again, only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the decor in the restaurant and the toilet area would benefit from some TLC.

Table of four one starter served five minutes before the rest, main course food brought out to the table then had to wait for plates to eat off and had to ask foe knifes and forks. Then found out they had messed the orders up with another table so one person in our party was left without food. The other three had to start or else food would of been cold. We have eaten at this restaurant before and after tonight it was embarrassing as we had brought overseas visitors for the first time.

I recommended this for friends as I had been there previously. Food was OK but very small portions, service was not good they had one young girl who was clearly not used to more than 2 people, they tried to charge us for 24 pints of beer, think they got mixed up with another table and also 2.75 for soda water, we managed to reduce our bill slightly but would not go again, shame really as I have previously had good experiences.

Food was lovely and nicely presented, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, nice relaxed atmosphere.

The complimentary starter was superb. Main meal was excellent, hot & spicy and well worth the visit.

We had a table for 8 and service seemed slow perhaps they aren’t used to large groups but although service was slow food was great and a great time was had by all.

Loved it. Me and husband was celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. Amid palace is special to us as this is where my husband proposed to me. Every time we visit the staff are always helpful and friendly and the food is always amazing.

First impressions not sure as there was a partition wall covered in black and yellow tape. Staff were very prompt and showed us to our table, very courteous and drinks came rapidly. Had a great deal of trouble reading the venue as lighting is so dim however that was the only bad points. Food was glorious very varied menu with a lot of dishes I have not seen before. It tasted just as good as it looks and very reasonable prices. On the whole 7 out of 10

Food was good as always. However the service was not up to standard. The wait time between sitting at our table and being served was ridiculously long. The wait between courses and for the bill was also very long. They don’t seem to do much quickly

The food was fantastic as always and the owner and his staff are really great.We come twice a year to England and always come to eat here.Its the best restaurant we know for indien food.If we did not live so far away I would eat every week there.Thank you for everything. Food and service were excellent. Lots of choices and all cooked fresh to order service was attentive and the pace was not rushed for a very busy Saturday evening.

The surroundings are a bit basic (it’s a formerl Little Chef site and it shows) but the food is excellent and is very good value for the quality offered.

Clean.polite staff .bit loud in there Me and wife couldn't hear each other talking. Nice food.expensive bottle of wines .was a good night other than the loud people .

The food was to a very high standard with a very clean restaurant, the Staff welcomed us as we arrived and also open the door wishing us a good evening as we left. The only thing I would suggest is if the staff could take your coats for the customers (or offer to hang them) but this is only a personal request, our party will be happy to eat here again in the near future......... 9.5/10

Good quality food with some interesting dishes and attentive service. Restaurant itself is fine but the toilets like like they could do with a bit of attention.

Courteous to the end, excellent menu and our starters were superb. Piping hot served on individually different plating to match each dish which were delicious. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The mains were all different and again presented individually different. Piping hot and plentiful. We were presented with a smoking palate cleanser courtesy of the Amid Palace . Nice touch to end our meal. We were thoroughly spoilt Thankyou also our waiter was charming

Beautiful food, well presented .Attentive waiter service and a nice atmosphere with no kids running around screaming!Loved it.I left with a full belly and a smile on my face.

The wife’s wine glass had a chip in it which caught her lip, they poured the same wine into another glass, the chip could have been in the wine ? We found a hair in my wife korma sauce. They didn’t charge for the food, but us wasn’t eaten so that’s what i’d Expect. We usually have a good experience here.

Food was good, but even though the restaurant is not busy, it takes a long time for the food to come. Service was friendly and we left a tip in cash. However, I understand that if you leave a tip on your credit card that the company takes it and the staff do not get it - this is not what a tip is intended for - so please change this!

LIVING IN GERMANY.I COME TWICE A YEAR.ITS THE BEST INDIEN RESTAURANT I KNOW. THE STAFF ARE SUPER AND THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. ALWAYS NEW IDEAS.i Don't eat anywhere else when I fly over.
