More about the restaurant: Amber Regent
Amber Regent is Glasgow’s undisputed premier Chinese restaurant. From it’s dark and dreamy interior that’s contemporary and comfortable in equal measure through to top service and, of course, exquisite food, Amber Regent, Glasgow is certainly one not to miss. The food is primarily Cantonese in style but that’s not to say you won’t find dishes inspired by other parts of China as well. This is so far from being your standard, takeaway-style Chinese food and whether for lunch or for dinner, you’ll find something in which to indulge. Unusually for a Chinese restaurant in Glasgow city centre, Amber Regent offers a wealth of gluten-free options. Reserve a table now and head straight for West Regent Street.

Thinking about making a Amber Regent booking?
Amber opened its doors 40 years ago on Byres Road and has been a pioneer in what is now considered, classic Chinese cuisine in Glasgow. Created by Andy Chung quickly became a recognised name and boasts a reputation for excellence before eventually moved to its new home on West Regent Street in the city centre. There, it evolved into the restaurant people know and love today – Amber Regent. Serving up all your favourite Chinese dishes as well as a whole host of signature specialities, this is one of our favourite places in Glasgow to while the evening away over delicious food and perhaps, a cocktail.
Possibly most famous for the seafood and shellfish, you'll be missing out if you don’t at least try the salt & pepper squid or monkfish with black bean sauce. But really, when the food is of such a high quality as it is here at Amber Regent, there isn’t anything on the menu we couldn’t recommend. This is fine dining taken to another level and Chinese cuisine like you’ve never experienced before. So, if you’re in the Glasgow city centre, do yourself a favour and book a table at Amber Regent.
