The restaurant was quiet and the service was delightful and attentive. The Mezze was delicious and generous. A big thankyou to the owner’s wife who helped me manage the stairs. First time visit and we will go again
Amazing restaurant, such lovely staff definitely recommend a visit if you’re in Brighton
Nice food, nice service, would come again. I would recommend
We both had the skewers and swapped the chicken and lamb as I prefer lamb and partner the chicken. Well seasoned and we also had a couple of desserts. Will definitely come again
Very much enjoyed the classic curries. Service was attentive and setting was relaxed
Really fantastic delicious food and our host could not do enough for us. Very friendly and welcoming. We love this place and can't wait to return again
Foods were delicious and service was great. It's highly recommended.
I love the food coz it's the flavours I'd grown up with. However, on forgetting to mention I was a Coeliac, I ordered a salmon dish assuming /thinking it would be grilled therefore perhaps not necessary to mention it. It turned out, the salmon automatically comes covered with a sauce which has wheat in it. I then told the waiter nicely, that I couldn't eat it. And if I could have another salmon without the sauce. He lectured me about mentioning my allergens whilst ordering more than 5 times. Okay I get it, it's my health after all and I am the one who would be suffering. It was a bit of an overkill IMO . I felt very patronised. I ended up ordering another option but still had to pay for the salmon dish. I love the reasonably priced delicious food here. 😋
Excellent food. I will definitely visit again. Shish taouk is supremely delicious.
Had never been here before so was a nice surprise food was good and a great price will definitely be going back with friends and family
Excellent food, good service, very reasonable prices. The starters are particularly good, but the main courses can also be recommended. What is not to like?
Delicious and good quality food. Can't fault food and service. Always feel welcome and kids catered for too. We've been coming here for over 15 years and love it.
The food, drink, and service are all fine. The lamb's kidneys, in particular, were wonderful. The setting is basic, but I value cleanliness over poshness. A downside is that people of restricted mobility will find access difficult (impossible for wheelchair users), and the same applies to use of the sanitary facility, which is at the top of a steep flight of stairs. However, such matters are dictated by the existing infrastructure, over which the business may have little or no control.
A great experience all round for the four of us. Two of my friends were vegetarians, and I have a dairy allergy, so we all went for the vegan option, which was delicious, filling, and beautifully presented. Washed down with some very nice white and red Lebanese wines, which I had never tasted before! We didn't have any room left for dessert, but enjoyed some refreshing mint tea, a brandy and a liqueur coffee to round off the meal. I couldn't recommend more highly, and look forward to returning soon. Service was also excellent, being friendly, unobtrusive and very helpful. Great value too!
Mezzo was very good but one or two of the main courses were not sufficiently spiced.Service was very good.We would go again and try other dishes
