Cold food! After complaining heated up in microwave! Asked for but of water which they put at our table, only for them to take it to another table as they explained the restaurant only have ONE JUG! TERRIBLE AVOID THIS PLACE

Was good no booking required all experience was great looking forward to new offers and hopefully come back in the near future and enjoy the great menu

Amazing food! As tasty as the food I have eaten in Egypt. Great service. The restaurant was clean and had a varied menu. We will definitely be going back soon!

I went to iftar in Ramadan with my family. We had a great time. Nice atmosphere. Great food and service. Friendly staff. Would Recommend it.

Very friendly waitresses they were very happy to you with menu and suggestions. The restaurent was clean and tidy the food was tasty i couldnt ask for anything more thankyou very much.

The food was good but the service was rushed. The boys serving took the plates away almost before we had finished even though the restaurant was almost empty. We had to ask for more bread and more water. The manager was very nice but overall it was not as good as our previous visit.

Food was just horrible. Watered down soup, my companion's curry was like coloured water, no taste or flavour, my chicken was nowhere near "shawarma", it was just warmed for the table and it looked and tasted like cat food. Disgusting.

It was expensive a bit, but thinking the location (knightsbridge) it makes sense. food was great, service was awesome. they offered us free desserts. i really liked the place, though it should have more Egyptian decorations.

Nice clean restaurant with pleasant surroundings. Staff provided good service and the food was good value for money, we used a Voucher so had a good deal.

Lovely restaurant in Knightsbridge with great staff and wonderful food. The voucher was excellent value. We shall definitely return soon. Great place for lunch after shopping.

Al Basha is a lovely place with a friendly atmosphere, nice ambience, great food and good customer service. We bought a Groupon and it definitely was a satisfactory value for money.

The meal was delicious, I was very impressed with the food. The service and the atmosphere were equally good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

The restaurant is amazing. Very good customer service ,nice food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was relax and the price is reasonable compared to others.

Not too bad for the tasting menu with a groupon. Value for money. Not sure i would be going back for the normal menu but it was ok for the price.

paid for a groupon voucher which was easily redeemed Food was nice but not good value. As very small portions shared between two. Service felt hurried - we got through 6 courses in 45 minutes

good value, nice environment and friendly service. The is quite sufficient for a review and one does not need to be told what minimum is.

My only disappointment was the small menu you had to choose from using a groupon voucher. Apart from the lack of choice for a main...the food I did choose was ok and the service was good.

I hadn't heard anything to confirm my reservation which I had made over a week in advancs so I called them. No answer so I left a message. Got a call back, they left a message to say they were cancelling my reservation with 24 hours to go!! Got an email to say my reservation had been cancelled in keeping with this..:-(

Loud but enjoyable music, good food, nice atmosphere. Would have liked to have olives, kofta, tabouleh as part of the six-course meal but still liked it.

Service was good. We'd bought a groupon for a tasting menu it said original value would be £85. there is no way we received a full taster or that it would have cost us the cited amount. It was lentil soup, salad, falafalel, pasta, houmous, one plate of gyros (which was poor quality) and, to finish, four tiny baklava.

The restaurant decor was old, tacky and unkept. There was a pile of dirty plastic tubs presumably used to bus the tables on the bar counter. The welcome was just : "are you Groupon or (another company)?" with no indication of what the menu was going to be. They served a soup and a dish of humus that were very good, the rest of the food was dry and very unremarkable. There was a big disconnect between the location (Knightsbridge) and the standard of the restaurant. Even for a discounted meal you would expect a nice welcome and clean surroundings

Great place! We liked it very much! the stuff was fantastic and meal extreamly delicous! the location is easy to find as well. go and get it!

Staff were quite friendly, not overly welcoming or didn't tell you what the dishes were. Food average, didn't know what I was eating at some points which was slightly unnerving. But most of it was fine. A lot of food and nice wine for the money.

We went to Al Basha using a taster menu Groupon voucher. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff from the moment we walked through the door. Excellent customer service. The food was tasty and we will be going back.

My second visit to Al Basha in a couple of months! Perfect location 5 m ins walk from Knightsbridge tube station. Friendly team, relaxing surroundings and of course DELICIOUS FOOD! The chicken and lamb were both succulent and the portions were large. The humous is the best Iv'e ever had and I have made it myself for 20 years! We love the chilli roast potatoes and asked for second bowl of these. Delicious Merlot......... We had the ten course taster menu for a second time, plenty of assortment and more than enough for two of us both who have good appetites. We will most certainly be back again. This last visit was Saturday lunchtime and the previous had been a Thursday evening. Highly recommend you pay Al B asha a visit! David Brown
