Abshar Restaurant

I went to this place last year and they were rude and overcharged and I went when it was eat out to help out and they didn’t include mocktails which was soft drinks and they were not following the rules. Never would I go again, very dodgy

The restraunt wasn't as busy but the service was quite slow as there is very less waiters. The food lacked flavours. Had to wait over 30 mins for my bill where service charge was included had to pay when the service was terrible. I would not go there again. I feel even the sauces they serve with the food are not homedae are shop bought which makes even worse.

I don’t feel the restaurant was socially distanced. All tables were like normal.

Booked for a family lunch for my mum's birthday. Service was awful, no one seems to know what they're doing. Food was also questionable as they served us bread which had grit all over it due to their oven being re-grouted. They also have a food hygiene rating of 1 but still displaying a rating of 4 at the restaurant which is incorrect. Its a shame as this place used to be amazing and we've eaten in and got takeaway regularly but now we will avoid.

The service was so slow. We had to ask for drinks 3 times after they'd taken the order. The food took ages to come and when it finally came it was such a disappointment. Blunt & tasteless!!

The food was excellent don't have to wait for too long and waiters were friendly. Everything was great. Will definitely recommend.

Seated without menu which then I had to ask for..service was very slow, had to ask for things few times before getting it on the table. It was busy. However the food was delicious.

Food lukewarm, halloumi salad very underwhelming, no dressing, massive pieces of iceberg lettuce and barely bronzed halloumi; bread cold and hard and one main completely forgotten. Waitress sorry they must be busy in the kitchen!!!

We went to Abshar on Eid. The restaurant is really pretty and the food was amazing and so reasonable. Would definitely visit again!

What a delight - thought and charming service, and food that keeps it simple but with a touch authentic class. This becoming a firm favourite for me and many.

Food was good, especially the hummus and flatbread and the chicken kebabs. Friendly service although a little slow when the restaurant got busy. Had to query the non arrival of a desert.

The Grilled food was nice . But the chicken wings weren’t up to standard, we told the waitress we weren’t impress and that She should inform the manager, we waited and once she came over we asked her what did the manager say she said he didn’t say anything, customer service was overall rubbish and I didn’t feel happy coming to eat here. The waitress didn’t even bother to make sure we were okay she just left the bill on the table without telling us what it was.

Extra slow service, had to get the waitresses on several occasions as we had to wait for over 1 hour and 30 mins to receive our mains which i feel is totally unacceptable especially on Father's Day....

After having ordered the food, they brought out the wrong thing twice, the rice was dry and the chips undercooked. Having been here multiple times before, the quality of the meal has depreciated. Will no longer be going back
