Food was lovely not great service and the rearranging of the tables when we were still sitting was annoying scraping of the floor.

Food delicious! Only marked down as we were there for a few hours and hard wicker seats were not comfy for that long but otherwise definitely recommend!

The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. Limited choose for friend who is both lactose and gluten intolerant so a few more options for them would be good

The service was a little too fast so we had to tell them to give us more time when the desert menu came. Apart from that the staff was very nice and the food delicious. A little pricey thought!

Food was nice apart from desserts which had to be sent back by 3 of our party. Staff dealt with this well and removed the cost from our bill. Noise levels were really high and hard to hear what someone at the opposite side of the table was saying to you

The waitress was unable to give any suggestions about the choice of wine, which I believe is not good enough. The food, however, was excellent.

We have used this restaurant for an annual get-together for 5 years and are never disappointed. Staff are friendly and efficient and all the food was well cooked and flavoursome. We were late for our booking and that posed no problem. The upstairs bar has a terrific range of beers and is great for a drink before and after.

Lovely restaurant, we were in a alcove which felt a little cut off from the main restaurant and atmosphere though. Food was lovely but could've done with more flavour (potted beef brisket and grilled coley fillet). The staff were really nice. Probably wouldn't go back to the restaurant but the bar upstairs is great!

Food was ok, nothing special. Place was more or less empty. Had to ask for the bread and butter and only got it after the starter. Wine was just put on the table without pooring it in. Did not had the feeling to be treated like welcomed guests.

It was nice. Good food, quiet and good for chatting and catching up with friends during lunch. Good value lunch deal, pudding was too large and simple.

Nice lunch if a bit restricted in choice. Fair price for the centre of town during festival time. Service was very good considering there was seven us eating.

Food was lovely as usual and friendly staff always happy to help. Would highly recommend and love the fact it’s a BYOB as hardly anywhere allows you to take your own wine at weekends! Love this place, hidden gem!

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were fabulous . They really made our 9 year old feel welcome. We really enjoyed the whiskey that was recommended. It was especially great to meet the man who painted the Mural.

This restaurant is very well located in the West End and offers a really accessible menu that everyone will like. We enjoyed lovely dishes such as haggis, neeps and fatties, Cullen skink, vegetable Wellington and pan-fried fish. The menu offers something for everyone and picky eaters would do just fine here. Bring a jumper as the restaurant is quite cool.
