It was a little slow but the food was good

Had a nice meal, service could be a bit better and wasnt happy the young waitress with the white shirt and nose ring coughed all over me.

It's a lovely spot! The view is amazing. So ask for window seat. Staff r very friendly an service was quick. There is music playing it was to loud to start so we asked for speaker above us to b turned down. It nice b able talk couldn't hear each other wit music. So asked member staff turn it down. They turned it off. Tht was better! Place it self is busy an loud so we found music just added to noise. Food was lovely an we'll presented. Def would go back.

Went on friday 21st February 2020 Had 3 course meal could not fault one thing everything was excellent. We will most definitely be back.

Once again 55 North gives the family a lovely dinner. Staff are excellent, good really tasty, and there is plenty of it. Or choice every time for a young family.

Sitting at a table for 2 squashed like sardines food lasagna was cold at bottom garlic bread was burnt pudding was average

The view was magnificent the food was ordinary, staff were very pleasant.

We had great time in 55 North. Food and atmosphere were lovely.

Music was wrong and much too loud for the setting, while the food was nice the portions were too small and we felt rushed.

We had a gift voucher to use which we were very pleased about the meal was very average in comparison to some of the other venues in town that we frequent, our portions were a good size and everything was hot, staff were friendly and attentive, 10£ meal starter and main was good value for money and cocktails from 3.99 although not very strong as you'd expect at that price... it had a good buzzy atmosphere and seemed very popular so if your in town try it for yourself...

Really wanted to like this restaurant but didn’t. It’s too bright and lacked any atmosphere. My husband enjoyed his starters but his salmon mains was missing the promised Pak Choi. They did bring this when asked. Every element of my Chicken Maryland was completely coated in breadcrumbs and fried. No sweet corn came as on the menu. It was all edible but not enjoyable. Sorry we will never be back.

Great atmosphere food was really good only the starters came before our drinks 🙈 it’s nice to have a drink relax enjoy the surroundings before you have your food also when we were finished are food enjoyIng the last of our wine the waiting staff was hoovering around us wanting to clear the table so we ended up Taking our Bottle of wine home 🤔 is this rite after spending money to enjoy a meal and drinks to to rushed out 🤔 Don’t think so .

A regular customer at 55 North! Must say I was a little disappointed that the fried brie has been removed from the menu as this has always been my favourite starter! Lovely restaurant with top quality food and beautiful location!

Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was good too. Really nice atmosphere.

Food was super and so was service. The only complaint I have is that the coffee I ordered was cold and another member of our party ordered a decaf which was so strong she couldn’t drink it!!

We were given a menu which had 2 courses for£5 but we were charged £10 for 2 courses. When I queried this I was told this didn’t apply to a Friday. Just thought we should have been told this when ordering. Checked their website and the £10 for 2 courses applies to Saturday & Sunday .
