2 Amici’s friendly atmosphere and cosy setting down Rochester Row (close to Victoria station and Vincent Square) makes this Westminster Italian restaurant ideal for intimate dinner dates or special family outings. The business lunchers can go elsewhere in London’s west – this is a social, family affair. That said, there is, naturally, an affordable set menu if you’d like to let 2 Amicis chefs show you how it’s done: soup, bruschetta, or mozzarella to start; spaghetti bolognese or carbonara, penne arrabiata or 2 Amici’s signature chicken and peppers in a red wine, tomato and basil sauce, or the risotto for the main event; followed by the acclaimed 2 Amici tiramisu.

As for 2 Amici’s a la carte menu, it too is reasonably priced for an independent Italian restaurant in this part of west London. We’re talking an authentic Italian ristorante sandwiched between Victoria station and Vincent Square in Westminster here, and while the menu is classically structured – as befits such a true Italian eatery – the prices are family-friendly (and allow one to impress one’s date without depressing one’s wallet). There’s an emphasis on seafood at this Rochester Row restaurant, with calamari and tiger prawns among the antipasti, and crab linguine, tiger prawn farfalle, and seafood risotto among the pasta and risotto dishes. Fresh grilled tuna steaks and sea bass fillets are two delectable pesce options, and as we mentioned earlier, you really can’t go past the homemade tiramisu if you reserve a sought-after dinner for two at 2 Amici.
