Lovely little restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was only alright for value, but would have expected more taste!

Authentic Italian food, love the king prawn pasta and the salmon pizza. The waiting staff is friendly and helpful. Very accessible location and good value for money. The table is bit small though.

The food is very good, I would say really Italian taste! The only point is the price, it is expensive but homemade pasta cannot be found easily and you pay for it. Wine is not at the level it should be. Overall, I will return and I recommend it.

The waiter was very friendly but made a lot of mistakes and also did not mentioned that one of us actually overpaid (we paid separately) and left around 30% tip on top of the service charge. We realised it after left the place so didn't go back. I was waitress before and I would have realised this and flagged it to the customer. The food was good, but mixing up the orders, missing one order, wanted to clear half empty plates etc was killing the mood.

I really like the restaurant. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and the food isn’t bad either. But unfortunately it was quite cold due to the fact that the door isn’t closing properly.

It was a fantastic dining experience there, the only concern is it really requires booking in advance as it can get very busy.

The plats are good but it was not hearty at all. We wait 30 min to have our plays. It was really expansive and the fees are really high for the service (9£).

The chairs are hard and the table for 2 was small as we had the sharing plates, so not the most comfortable place. The waitress was excellent as my friend has food allergies and she was really helpful. As the restaurant filled up the noise level increased and there no soft surfaces at all so it was hard to have a conversation. However the flavours of the food were absolutely delicious.

Initially this seemed like a lovely cosy little Italian restaurant but when an Italian restaurant can’t cook pasta properly you know you’re in trouble.! Pasta not al dente and sauce so drowned in garlic it was impossible to taste anything else! Very limited choice of menu and other meals the party I was with had were very bland. Very disappointed. Cross it off your list!

I've been here twice before and both times had a lovely evening. However this evening, they lost our reservation and left us sitting downstairs for 90mins waiting for our table to become available. Just as we decided to leave in frustration (it was 930pm at this point), they told us the table was at last available. We were very annoyed at this point and so to make up for their poor service, they gave us our meal on the house which was much appreciated. All in all a shame because the food is very good here

I went for a quick meal after work (just two people). Everything from when we first entered, to the service, through to when we left was warm and welcoming. The fact that the food was also really great helped quite a bit as well. A real gem of a place and one I will return to.

Delicious homemade pasta and a friendly atmosphere. Neighbourhood coziness reflected in the decor, the red piano and black and white photos and film posters. A good place for brunch as well.

i really want to give it more.....but for the atmosphere, and price, it just fell short. prosecco - only bottle was £38. Too much!! Why don't they have a reasonably prices wine list. This is NOT a high end restaurant. So I do not mind being secluded in the downstairs room with a lack of atmosphere......but prices to reflect that. Octopus starter at £15 as a starter??? Crazy prices. You can get equally exquisite octpus at Kilis in Angel N1, at a better environonment and price (try £6.50 as starter)....and the softest succulant octopus you can have. Mains are bordering on small.......so overall....I feel they are trying to penny pinch you ....at hefty prices for the environment.
