Zelman Meats - Soho

Absolutely superb. Great service from our waiter who took his time to explain the cuts of meats and make recommendations regarding portions for our group. The food was delicious- great atmosphere as always. Zelman’s never fails.

Very good food but service was a bit slow and the place is a tad bit noisy as it's all hard surfaces.

Chips was very salty and I felt the waitress was not as welcoming. I also felt it was rude when we asked why we wish for the service charge to be removed. There is a way of asking why customers do not want to pay or in fact do not ask at all as it makes customers uncomfortable but the lady who took our payment said "why not, whats the problem'. We were actually going to leave cash tips and were left baffled. If you are going to charge service charge then mannerism should be exceptional. I also felt it was cheeky charging extra to make up a plate of meal.

Expensive for what it is. Inside decor is nothing special, £8 for chips!

Reassuringly small menu, excellent food and friendly ‘can do’ service. The staff were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 👍🏻👏🏻😁 Our steaks were perfect. Admittedly there's not much choice if you’re coeliac or gluten intolerant (only one g/f starter and neither of the two puddings) BUT - the g/f starter was a perfect burrata, the chef put together a delicious g/f sauce pepper sauce for my steak and they do have home-made vanilla ice cream. Pudding wasn’t an issue in the end however; too full!

Food was coming out much slower than usual this time. Everything else was good as usual. Thanks.

Zelmans in Soho is great for couples/friends with good eyesight, due to the low level lighting. The staff are amazing and helpful with allergies. The food is outstanding and if you can eat Chillies and Alcohol, there is a wide choice to choose from on the menu. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, but that's my personal choice due to my allergies and being single.

The meat was so tough neither of us ate it, when we mentioned it to the waitress she said she would say it to her manager. Nothing else was said other than an offer of coffee at the end of the meal. No sign of the manager or any comment when the majority of the meal was returned upon clearing the plates

We went here for our anniversary as we think it’s the best steak house in London, we booked for 7pm on Saturday evening and it was pleasantly quiet and we were seated near the bar which was very relaxing with lots of room. The bar staff were very friendly and offered to customise my drink. The food was brought out a little too quickly however (silly thing to complain about) but we just stayed for drinks afterwards to enjoy the full experience. Bring back the dirty steak!

Food is okay. Nothing special. Not up to par with Hawksmoor, and definitely not with Goodman. Service entirely unacceptable. No kids menu. When we asked if they could do some mashed potato for our 9 month old, the answer was a flat ‘no’. When we asked if they could do anything for our son, the answer was ‘I don’t know what kids eat’. Well that’s why I just asked you to boil me some potatoes and mash them with a fork. Just shockingly bad. We went to the local sandwich shop for him which was far more accommodating.

Great place to eat, the food is amazing. If your a meat lover then this is the place to go.

Firstly a great first impression as the interior is high end and sophisticated. Loved the huge fish tanks in there. Amazing service, the lady explained everything to us and with her help we ordered just enough food. And lastly the food was phenomenal....... I recommend the chateaubriand steak which had the nicest flavour..... my favourite part was the fact all the meat comes on a platter sliced to share so you get an experience of everything you both order. Will definitely be back again! 👍

Absolutely amazing! I’ve never had steak like it. The food was beautiful and the staff were lovely.

A perfection location to celebrate my birthday. Welcoming and friendly staff, smooth and consistent service. Our food arrived very quickly, the attention to detail on each dish was 👌 Every bite was heavenly, especially those Lobster Croquettes and Tiger Prawns Tempura. The Chateaubriand was delicate, the flavour melted in your mouth. I missed the Wagyu steak as the special, but the tartare was still delicious. A generous amount of Black Truffle and Parmesan on the chips. The Dark Chocolate Tart was indulgent, it wasn’t too sweet and the honeycomb elevated it 🤤 I was impressed and there wasn’t anything I disliked, textures of each dish were bang-on. I really appreciated the gesture of having a complementary dessert (unexpected) ✌️ Highly recommend if you wanted to be Boujee and wanted a comfortable dining experience ❤️

Really very good. We were a table of 8 which can often get squashed onto a too small table but this was perfect, and no annoying over-loud music, which is the current curse of London restaurants. Food was very good - one cut of meat that I found tough but the rest was great. Would recommend, and will definitely return.

Goodman is the place I usually go to when I want a good steak. Zelman Meats is like a boistrous younger brother. Friendly service, good meats though I couldn't choose medium and had to go for medium rare and the Truffle Chips are probably the best chips I've ever had when dining out.
