Zelman Meats - Soho

Great service by the staff, really knowledgeable and suited my order to cater for dietary requirements. Meat and sides were amazingly done and the servings sizes were great. Absolutely recommended.

Excellent restaurant. Very much enjoyed the ambience and the food was delicious. It was on the pricey side, but it's what I would expect to pay for high quality service and food which is what I received. I would definitely return and recommend.

Good service, but that's about it. Food is average at best, unrefined and scrappy. This place shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Goodman's....

Really good meat, but the waitress recommended that we order a bit too much. Overall, really good service, but it was a bit over priced.

Amazing food and staff. Will come back again as my clients loved it! My favourite is still the Dirty Steak. Make sure you keep space for the Apple pie though!

Great food complemented by brilliant service and wine, though I think the wine was a bit overpriced. On the other hand, the steak was good value for money, especially considering the location of the restaurant. There's a really nice atmosphere and the best ribs I've ever had so would highly recommend a visit to Zelman Meats!

I treated my husband for his birthday with a meal at Zelman Meats ahead of attending the Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre and it was fabulous. The service was excellent...attentive without being overbearing. The food was superb, actually it was sublime. We only had a main course and a cocktail owing to the fact that I had just joined Slimming World earlier in the day so was concious of what I was eating. All I can say is that the steaks were out of this world in quality and taste. We shared a strip sirloin which was grilled on charcol and beautifully cooked to perfection (medium rare as the chef recommended) and 300 grams of smoked short ribs between us which you could have cut with a fork and then I had roast courgettes and a heavingly salad. For a meal out it ticked so many boxes and the waiting staff were so lovely too and they did use a pen and paper to take down our order, which is a desire that we share with Jay Rayner. In fact I picked this place because of Jay's review and we can't wait to make another reservation. It may not work for everyone but this so worked for me and my diet too :)!

The restaurant has a great buzz about it,the staff are really helpful and the food is great.the steak comes in 100g portions so I would suggest that you order at least 300g in what ever you choose as you can have 2 different steak types.

The food was incredible, all of the meats are perfectly cooked and the selection of cocktails complement the food! Very good customer service. Would highly recommend.

Both the starters and the main course and side dishes were very good. The service was very quick - almost too quick. A great place to eat before you go on to something else - but not a 'date venue' in itself.

The food was fantastic and the service exceptional. I didn't even have to tell the waiter I was pregnant, he recommended the meat well done and created a lovely non alcoholic cocktail for me from my favourite ingredients. No fuss! Would definitely go back!

Casual steak place, but not comparable in terms of meat quality with the likes of Hawksmoor, Goodmans etc. Ordered a Chateaubriand which was quite chewy for this cut.

Meat is perfect. Try dirty steak and button mushrooms for side - the best option! Ribs are too fatty. Apple pie for dessert is a must

As always Zelma meats leads the crowd in serving up Simple stunning cuts of prime Beef. If you want the fish go somewhere else.The dirty Sirloin is cooked on the same charcoal they make angel wings the taste is just that good and before you complain about the price of the truffle and Parmesan chips just have one. Great human service and they don't crowd you. Just brilliant.

My friends and I have a monthly meat club and have visited a different meat establishment every month for a little over 2 years. Zelmans is one of the few we have been to on more than one occasion and it currently enjoys our number 1 ranking. The meat is incredible, the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the price is more than reasonable. Cracking place.

The food was amazing! The staff, in particular our waitor, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable for a steak place. My family were visiting from Scotland and were thoroughly impressed. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit and I would most certainly visit again.

meat was quite reasonably priced and enjoyable. Its quite unusual for me to say this but I think the starters were the highlight of the night. For mains we had a 400g (£25) steak and a 350g shortrib. The shortrib had a great smoky taste to it but I did find it a bit dry. The starters however stole the show so I recommend having the tuna tartare and the burata. Our waiter was really helpful at suggestions.
