Zelman Meats - Soho

The team at Zelmans gave us great service at our lunch. The food was delicious. For a special occasion they gave us extra attention and a candle in our dessert

Bit pricey but the steak is AMAZING! The slow cooked rump is incredible! So much flavour no additional sauces necessary. The thick cut chips are great too. Atmospheric and busy venue, in the heart of Soho. Highly recommended.I'll definitely be going again.

Pricey but the food is excellent. Chateaubriand, beef short rib and the dresses cabbage are absolutely perfect! Spend the money on the expensive cuts - you won't be disappointed in quality.

Good quality meat, nice and simple menu, old fashioned's were bad though... but cheap. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and affordable prices. Will go again.

Awesome meat! Decor is very hip. The waittress was very nice and helped us by recommendins good options. Located and one of the best neighborhoods to walk around.

Zelman Meat was a lovely and welcoming restaurant, the food was fresh Oysters, prawns, Truffles chips and the meat served of superb quality and tasty. Staff were very professional and knowledgeable on each dishes.. My wife and I had an amazing experiences, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely come back. Very welcoming at the entrance. Waitor gave a nice impression. Good information and kindly way. Nice to see the kitchen and all of the chefs. Not to noisy. We could speak easy in our company. Food was excellent! All components, meat, side dishes and sauses. Overall top of the line evening.

The food is very good and worth the visit. I found the restaurant a little loud, though, so not great for conversation. It is also quite expensive - all the sides add up.

Zelman meats is rather expensive for steak/pork but the food was very tasty and filling! Fabulous service, friendly waiter. Food was served in good timing.

Nice location, lovely staff, good enough food, good drinks menu. The staff really make the place, to be honest. I was hoping for slightly better food, though we ate really slowly, so that probably didn't help.

Spectacular meat and top staff, you will feel like you're a king there! The only thing is that I mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday like 3 times and while other tables had little cakes, she didn't get anything and was a bit let down..

A bit too loud music but I'm 55... When a Amorone is on your wine list I expect it to be in stock. Food: super delicious! Staff: very kind indeed!

Great quality meats. Nicely cooked and cut. Triple fried chips was a highlight not to le missed. Friendly service, makes you feel comfortable. Enjoyable environment and good atmosphere. Well-spaced tables male for comfortable seating without having to rub elbows with people at nearby tables.

Good service and enjoyable experience. Food is as expected but my favorite choice is not available at this time. Will have to pop back again soon for Chilean Wagyu.

Very modern restaurant, menu on first viewing looks limited but don't let this fool you. They know how to cook meat here. The waitress we had was excellent. She knew how each cut of meat was meant to be cooked and what drinks go well with them. Really impressed with customer service. We skipped starters and went straight to mains. Sirloin steak was superb, lamb chops were excellent & all sides went well with the meal. Dessert again limited to 2 options but both were great. I would say the slight complaint was how dark the restaurant was but a minor observation. Would definitely recommend.

Second time here and the service and meal were excellent as before. The picanha is definitely our family favourite as are the truffle chips. Good value for price and quality of the meat is also good.

Yummy food. Service was very friendly but a little bit slow. Cabbage side was delicious, as were the beef and pork rib mains. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is just amazing. Don't know where to start. Took my boyfriend for belated birthday meal and he said it was the best steak he's had in the UK. Brilliant service, trendy decor, tasty food and strong drinks. Go for the dirty steak!!!

All the staff were very helpful to make us understand how the menu works... lamb chops were the dish to go for ribs were a little dry but think that's just our view

Excellent service, good steak. The short rib is incredible. Definitely worth a visit, adding some good variety to the London steak scene. The picanha in particular is very good.

Waitress was very knowledgeable and explained the different steaks on the menu. Food was delivered quickly and was very tasty, although the steak could have been hotter for us personally. It is very dark in the restaurant but again, this is not a criticism just a preference for us.

Alex and Lidia were most hospitable, in fact everyone was (but I did not get everyone's name). I was dining by myself upon being recommended this restaurant. Since I wasn't sharing with anyone it would have been difficult to try more than one or two items on the menu. Alex made it possible to try more than I could have hoped for and with a genial attitude. I am impressed with the wine list and will definitely have dinner again next time I am in London. Thank you for the hospitality.

The meat is great as usual - we ordered the porterhouse medium rare and it was great. Will certainly visit again. The service was good as well.

First time visiting, but it's been on the wish list for a while. Wonderful atmosphere, with comfortable and private seating in booths. Friendly and engaged staff; happy to help and answer questions, knowledgeable about the menu and the food. Ah yes, the food. It's brilliant.

We had a great time here - the menu was simple but high quality and the wine was excellent. The steak was succulent and simple and the side of cabbage was divine.

Can recommend because: + meat was high quality and very delicious (we had three different cuts) + had the chips as side dish, even my potato-hating husband liked them + service personnel was very friendly and helpful + starters (tempura shrimp and tuna tatare) were excellent (but small portions) Room for improvement: - not enough spicey sauces (like peppercorn or horseradish), there are mostly creamy ones (mayo, bernaise, bbq) - food took a while to come (main dish about 1 hour, starters came at once)

First visit to Zelman Meats. Based on excellent reviews I chose this place as a treat for my daughter after graduating. We were not disappointed. I would highly recommend. Many thanks for a very enjoyable meal.

Steaks only available rare or well done? Quality not good. Great place and vibe. Waiter excellent. Food just ok. If quality is there you should be able to cook desired.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Zelman Metas - the chateaubriand and short rib were excellent, side dishes were great (very generous portions too) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Good food and ambience. Chateaubriand came with too many 'ends' and not enough 'middle' would be my only complaint. Wine choice was very good too.

Very cool Location in Soho, top and friendly service, absolut delicious meal (burrata & chateaubriand). We'll come back next time, when staying in London. The Zelman-Team is doing a Great Job.;-)

Gorgeous food (meat was perfectly cooked and damn those ribs - juicy) and excellent service. The texture of the fries was on point too. Very well done Zelda Meats - a must-go place in London!

Great dinner. Surprise for me was the Picanha. Sometimes a tough but flavourful cut, Zelman's offering was served medium rare and super tender. We should have ordered more!

The food was super quick Staff was amazing, they explained everything on the menu and advised on the format and sharing plates. But Most importantly the food was amazing!

Would not let us have the chateaubriand rare.. which I find very odd for a steak restaurant.. should be cooked to order. Wasn't very impressed. The food we did have in the end was good. Would recommend the prawn starter.

I've been to Zelman's twice and have had a great time with very tasty food on both occasions. The dirty steak is a winner and so are many of the other options. Definitely recommended for meat lovers.

Succulent steak (we had the dirty sirloin). Generous portions. Tempura prawns with mayo were delicious. Apple pie with crisp shortcrust pastry, great way to complete a highly enjoyable meal. The staff very helpful and knowledgeable, polite and friendly without hovering unnecessarily! It became a little noisy but didn't really bother us too much.
