Very nice atmosphere and staff. Really loved the evening and the service. Food was absolutely great. We ordered chateaubriand filet and brisket both were amazingly cooked to perfection, just melted in the mouth. Definitely going come back. Special thanks to our waiter who was full of positive energy and very helpful in our decisions ;]

Brazilian rump steak: 7/10 Chateaubriand: 8/10 Short Rib: 1/10 - Unbelievably bad. Way overcooked and dry. Then covered with BBQ sauce to cover the disappointing quality of the meat. The worst short rib I ever had.

Excellent food, excellent staff and very reasonable prices for the quality of food. The picanha is always the favourite, with the dirty steak a close second. Highly recommend the chimicuri sauce too.

The meat was decent, but not amazing. My chateaubriand was good, but tasting my friend's brisket, I was pleased I hadn't ordered that. Also not impressed with the black truffle parmesan fries. They were UK-style chips, which I'm not a fan of. Nothing terrible, and the service was friendly, if a touch rehearsed, but there was no party in my mouth, and I'll rather check out a different place next time. Prefer FlatIron.

Great service. The food came quick and was very good too. We had the Guinness steak sandwich with fries. An extra side of ribs were very tasty but slightly on the dry side. Overall, very good. Definitely going back.

Most enjoyable place with a superb cuisine and super friendly staff. Some places with direct view to kitchen, event dining included. Recomended meal: Chateaubriand with Salad, and of course their new dark porter beer.

Fantastic service; quick and friendly. Delicious cocktails and what I consider to be the best steak I've ever had! On the pricier end of the scale but worth every penny.

Great food, cocktails, service and ambiance. You have to try the ribs but make sure you order more than 250g as it's on the bone so not as much meat as a steak. No complaints and already booked to go back with another client.

The service was good. We had 2 waitresses as one was training, which we could tell as she wasn't giving detailed descriptions of what kind of beef is what & kept saying what she loved. We ended up trying a couple & it was cooked just how we wanted it. Can't really fault the food. Definitely recommend this place!

Our dining experience at Zelman's was over the top! The service was fantastic, beginning and ending with the hostess Kat, and the drinks made to order by Ash were so good we convinced him to show us how to make them by ordering a second round! The food was cooked to perfection and surpassed our expectations. We are from Canada and used to travelling through the southeast USA, but your Ribs beat any we have had anywhere! A very sincere thank you for a great dining experience. Randy and Tammy Hoyt, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Great food and atmosphere - love how you share the meat in a platter and it's served by the 100g. Chimicurri sauce wasn't as traditional tasting as I would like. Truffle chips - lovely!!

We reserved a table for 9 people on Friday evening, on arrival we were immediately shown to our table which was a very big round table with high chairs towards the back of the restaurant in very close proximity to the kitchen. This table was not very pleasant to sit in as the chefs were constantly ringing the bell loudly when each dish was ready to be served! On the other side of our table we had waiters drying cutlery and throwing them loudly into the trays as well as bar staff loudly filling their buckets with ice! Before we even ordered the food we already all had a headache! The starters of Prawn tempura, Tuna Tartare and Burratta were very good but portions were definitely very small for the price! Especially £8 for a fine piece of mozzarella cheese with some tomato sauce! After ordering, the picanha and chateaubriand which we wanted on 3 separate plates because some people wanted their steak cooked more well done verse medium rare, the waitress refused and wanted to serve everyone's order on one plate?! Which made the whole process very confusing since we now had no idea how many grams each person ate! They also refused to cook the steak medium but only well done which was inedible very dry or very rare which some people did not like! Overall the meat was mediocre quality and I definitely would not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon! Better options: Goodman's, Hawks Moor, Gaucho etc.

Great food, terrific customer service. If I had to give some minus points it would be that I would like to be informed about how huge the fries portion is,so we could've shared instead of ordering one each. But other than that,a great experience

Very disappointing meal. Went for a birthday celebration after reading great reviews. Service and restaurant/atmosphere were good but food was not, nor was it good value for money. Had tempura prawns and tuna ceviche to start - tempura was lovely with crisp light batter but hold fuck mayo was not at all spicy, and while the tuna itself was lovely the dish lacked flavour and badly needed more seasoning/soy/lime/sesame. On to the mains, we ordered 200g picana and a special on the bone rib eye (600g). Neither tasted like they had been seasoned, and a large amount of the rib eye was inedible with lots of gristle and chewy, raw fat. Hugely disappointing considering it cost £50. £10 steak at flat iron round the corner has more flavour and much better value for money. The truffle Parmesan chips were ok but don't use fresh truffle, more like a preserved tapenade. The charred broccoli was not good - huge pieces of broccoli with raw stalk due to size and no charring as far as I could see and sat in a watery sauce. Had potential to be delicious (garlic, chilli, anchovies) but was instead very bland. Courgettes were cooked nicely but again lacked flavour. Stackable carafes of wine - Cabernet Sauvignon was nice but chianti and Malbec were disappointing. For £150 meal for 2 people, go elsewhere.

The décor was great. The staff were friendly. They are trying to be a more relaxed version of Goodmans, but it is not a less expensive option. Relaxed but with a price tag, especially on the beer and wine. The meat was tasty but not an "I must go back".

The best steak restaurant I've ever eaten in. Choice isn't huge, but because you can mix and match your meats and sides you can create what you want. Good cocktails, good service and a good atmosphere. Ate at Hawksmoor the night before and this was a better experience and much less cash. Only problem is getting a table! So book well in advance.

Our waiter was great - very patient with our indecisiveness and offered some good suggestions for the table (4people).
