Beautiful food excellent service friendly staff best restaurant in sunderland for a long time . Waiter asked how long between course which was excellent service

This was our first visit to Yuvraaj, we took my mother for mother's day. The building is nice and the staff were polite, however unfortunately they were not coping at all with the number of guests; we had to wait so long for our starters we were about ready to eat the tablecloth. Then another hour's wait for the mains on top. Even while waiting, a requested drink never arrived. The food was nice and I think this is probably normally a good restaurant however we saw them on a bad day. They were apologetic about the wait which is why I have given them 3 stars rather than 2.

Amazing food, best Indian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! So tasty, the tandoori prawns were unbelievable! Really reasonably priced, couldn’t fault anything, will most definitely be back!

It had been far too late no since our last visit to Yuvraaj. The food and service was excellent as always. Will go again soon.

Warm welcome, great service and food consistently good. Car parking is good if you are lucky but street parking ok. This is a regular venue to catch up with friends and family.

Food was delightful. Service was quick & we were well attended to. Really reasonably priced for such high quality food, too. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

As usual, first class meal with first class service and excellent value for money. We intend to celebrate a birthday at yuvraaj in a couple of weeks.

We had a table for 10 booked for a 59th birthday. The food and the service was brilliant, this was my first visit on a reccomendation and will be back, staff made sure everything was fine with food and drinks and if when we were leaving, but not too much in your face just the right amount

Wonderful meal, fantastic ambience. Not rushed, waiting staff were very helpful, always there ready to help with drinks or extras. Will be back over and over again x

Fantastic meal as always. Madras spicy. Went to the Early Bird and the food is at no disadvantage to the full price menu after 7pm.

Excellent restaurant, relaxed & laid back. Food was delicious didn't feel rushed. Only one down side was. We hadn't finished the poppoddoms when they brought the starter. But that's only a minor thing. Overall the restaurant was excellent

The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were friendly and attentive without ever seeming like they were watching over you like most restaurants. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

This was my first visit but it won't be my last. The servers take time to explain the menu asking how spicy you like it and they can amend the dish if you like it hotter or not. Real good decor. Food great and not really expensive

Nice enough but I have had better locally bu would definitely go back again as it is a 5 Minute walk from my home 😊

Food was really good here and the price was really good too. Could not fault it really, only thing that was quite odd was that the lights kept flickering.

Restaurant was really busy with a lovely festive atmosphere. Service great and food was delicious. The rose zinfandel wine was lovely too. Very good value for money will definitely go again.

Polite welcome on arrival. The restaurant was very clean and newly decorated. The menu was quite extensive with dishes I hadn’t come across before. Excellent service and lovely food. Will be going back.

Party of six went to Yuvraaj for early bird special menu. Food and service both excellent and superb value for money, will definitely return in future.

The staff were very attentive, pleasant and created a warm atmosphere. The food was so tasty, hot and just right for the occasion leaving enough time to talk in between courses.

The staff here are so friendly and attentive and the food is of a very high standard. It is also so nice to be asked if we want a pause in between courses rather than the food being rushed out. A visit to Yuvraaj is always a pleasant experience.

Excellent service, premium quality food and dining experience! Beautiful Food in a great relaxing setting with parking available ourside. Would thoroughly reccomend the Yuvraaj special starter and the Kandahari Lamb.

Best Bhuna chicken puri starter ever. Good price and good setting. Can't be vexed for £10. Went on a Tuesday evening for the 5-7pm special. Would reccomend.

Fantastic service everytime! Could not meet a better bunch of gentlemen. Nothing is ever a problem to them. Always happy to help and the food is absolutely outstanding. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed our first visit to Yuvraaj and really enjoyed our food, our friends went to the restaurant following our recommendation but they were not impressed, the waiting staff on Saturday 23/09 at around 6.30 did not make them feel special and appeared disinterested, they waited "for ages" - in their words for the starter and main meal to arrive, even though there was only a few people in the restaurant, they said the food was sort of ok, the tandoori chicken appeared to have been microwaved and was tough, 2 pieces were inedible, the owner did ask them if everything was ok before they were leaving but they did not want to make a fuss and said everything was fine. There is a lot of competition out there so Yuvraaj need to be on the ball to get repeat customers.

Best Indian restaurant in Sunderland! Beautiful food and the service is fantastic. The wine is crisp and deliciou, a good selection of both food and wine.
